I had to hire another person and spend another thousand dolor for he job that he promised to finished. Other company had to finished David's work. "Gil and his crew at Goias are amazing to work with. Each crew is so hard working and perform quality work, paying attention to detail. Gil is so honest and fair with his suggestions and pricing. He does not try to add things on to bump up the price and he even made suggestions and offered insight on some modifications he would suggest to be better for us. We used Goias last year for tile and concrete removal and a new floor install in the kitchen, living and dining rooms and the workmanship was so incredible, that they were the first call we made this year when we had a few new projects that needed to be done. Jose and his crew started with the painting. They spackled, sanded, primed and painted stairways, hallways, all bedroom doors, the kitchen, living and dining rooms & one bathroom including the ceilings and trim. They did an exceptional job and everything looks perfect. It is the best the walls have ever looked! Next came Thiago. He removed the old railings and installed new beautiful handrails and railing on the front porch. He took his time, meticulously installing everything perfectly. What a face-lift this was for the porch and it looks like a different porch! Incredible! Then Jose came with his landscaping crew. They removed concrete, retaining walls and a couple of tons of stone along with old flower beds and tree/bush stumps. They installed two new retaining walls, new flower beds, a new mailbox post and pavers all along the front of the house and walkway. When they were seeding the lawn they even went above and beyond filling in other areas of my lawn and seeding those areas as well even though they weren't at the spot the work was done. I let Jose pick the plants and he did an incredible job selecting beautiful, low maintenance ones at my request. Every single crew cleaned up when they left each day and left my home in immaculate condition. They were also very careful with opening the doors and the gates making certain to keep my dogs safely in the house or yard. I have referred Goias to everyone that needs a solid contractor as I know they produce quality work, are fair in pricing and are very responsive. It is so stressful to put your trust in a company, but I promise, Gil will live up to and then exceed your expectations. Thank you Gil for taking pride in your company! "We purchased a house that was 20 years old. We needed our concrete walkway repaired, as it sank over a period of several years, leaving the distance between steps as a safety hazard. Brian and his crew assessed the situation and did an amazing job. Besides replacing the entire concrete walkway, they also installed a railing. They did another railing in the back of the house and installed a new mailbox as well. 2 days in and we've had many compliments on both the mailbox and walkway. Another neighbor has already asked if HMD is willing to do their mailbox. No job to small (or big, as I believe they're used to doing much larger jobs in the metro area). They also kept our property and surrounding area clean. They loaded equipment and materials in and out, and it was a "busy site" for a couple of days, but when they cleaned up, you would never know they were there, except for the quality craftsmanship they left behind. The front of our house looks better than ever."

"Last year I moved into a new house with a pool that was neglected by the previous homeowner and it needed a major facelift. As a first time pool owner and knowing nothing about pools, the task seemed overwhelming. So I started calling various pool companies - about 15 in total - to get an opinion and an estimate. About half the companies would either not show up or come by look at the pool and then never get back to me with pricing. The others were either outrageously overpriced or there was something I didn’t like about the company for one reason or another. Then I was referred to Pugliese pool services by the company that did our pool inspection. I called Pugliese and spoke to Alex on a Friday afternoon and he stopped by the next morning. I explained that I basically knew nothing about pools so he sat with me for about 2 hours discussing the pool, the pool equipment and showed me how everything works. He then started to give my options on how to proceed with its renovation, something that none of the other pool companies did. Alex then came back a week later to meet with me and my wife, bringing samples of coping stones, tiles and color chips for the new plaster surface. Once aging he was with us for about two hours going over everything to the finest detail. After Alex left that day I remember turning to my wife and saying I hope his price would be reasonable because I really liked him – he seemed like a straight shooter, he seemed honest, fair and very knowledgeable and passionate about pools. My wife said she had the exact same feeling. There was something about him that really clicked with us. Anyway we received Alex’s proposal about a week later and it was quite fair and reasonable. So I checked his references and did my due diligence on him and his company and I felt really good about hiring him. And I am so happy we did. Alex and his guys were amazing; they were neat, respectful, and true craftsman. They went above and beyond the original scope of work and my pool looks amazing. Alex was there with us every step of the way – even consulting on the landscaping. The pool is up and running now and I know if I ever have any questions or concerns Alex is always a text message or phone call away. Alex is now not only “my pool guy” but he is a good friend."
