Mata Paving and More owned and operated by Carlos. Where do I start? I did a ton of research and got a lot of estimates. It took me months, and after a recommendation and speaking to a couple of property owners who hired Mata, I decided to have them to redo my driveway. We expended the driveway and installed Belgian Blocks borders. From A to Z, from the estimate, to arriving on time to materials, every step of the was professional. The crew, which was the same crew every day were great, efficient, kind and worked incredibly together. Every worker at Mata has a specific role that he specializes in. I spoke to a few of them which work for Mata for 6+ years which goes to show how the owner treats his guys. Very well! I was so so impressed with the work. They did things I wasn’t even aware they would do. The grading, the slope, the base, deep and super compacted. Taking their time and leaving the sub base to settle for longer than any other company offers. That was a big plus for me. I was in no rush and wanted to make sure I get the best end result and they totally exceeded expectations. Carlos, thank you for an incredible job. If you want the best driveway and the best price, this is your company. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

I worked with Mata on 2 jobs and with both had an excellent experience. First job was driveway total redo with asphalt and Belgium blocks on both sides. 2nd job was a backyard project in which they developed a bed for me and planted 7 emerald green arborvitae’s. Carlos (the owner) is an excellent communicator and professional. Both projects were completed in a timely fashion and both were fair in price. I absolutely love how both projects came out. I would absolutely work with them again. Book them, you won’t regret it!

Our Drive way was starting to crumble and we needed a new one as soon as possible. I started to look for paving contractors and was pretty shocked at how much it was to get my old driveway torn up and a new one put in. I was about to put the project off when I got a call from a family friend to call Mata Paving & More. I called Carlos, the owner and he came right away to give me an estimate. His estimate was extremely reasonable and I knew I had to hire Mata. His work crew was incredible. On time, professional and talented. These guys went out of their way to ensure I got what I wanted. The work is done, but if I need something, Carlos is a phone call away and I will hire them again for another project. I’ve already referred Mata & more to a family member who hired them on the spot to pave their drive way. In fact, when I told my father in law about everything and he got his quote, he called me to thank me. He too was extremely pleased by the price. Mata Paving did a lovely job replacing a sunken cement walkway! Carlos was knowledgeable. His team did the work neatly. The quote was reasonable and Mata Paving provided a form for tax exemption. Early in the process when I had a query about the quote, there seemed to be a wait to hear back from Mata Paving but I’m happy that I waited. Carlos answered all of my questions. On the scheduled day of the job, it was raining heavily. He called promptly to let me know that they'd reschedule for the next day. While working, there was minimal disturbance to the nearby area. The team returned the following day to level adjacent areas with the walkway. I wasn’t expecting that, and it was greatly appreciated! The walkway looks great- I just need to put some grass seeds down! I recommend Mata Paving and would hire them again!

Excellent.. Carlos of Mata Paving was responsive to our calls, estimated our needs and discussed with us the problems we encountered with a previous contractor's failure. Mata's formal estimate and contract was precisely and clearly written, legal and even provided a "care of your driveway" instructions (very informative). This left us confident that we were working with a reputable contractor. They scheduled the project and promptly arrived, all workers "worked", and finished within a few hours. They had the right equipment and products used. The driveway is perfectly level, edges sharp and looks great; we are extremely happy!

We have use Carlos and his team twice now, our old house last year and this year at our new house. Both times we were so satisfied with their work. The price was fair (we compared with other local masons), they came on time and when they said they were coming, and the work was exactly what we had hoped for. I would highly recommend Carlos Mata.
