To make matters worse, the ?advice? given for self-repair turned out to be entirely incorrect. We ultimately had to hire a different appliance repair company, who quickly identified the actual problem and replaced the necessary component. Refund Issues: I contacted the owner multiple times. We mutually agreed that the service fee should be refunded due to the poor and misleading service. Despite several follow-ups and repeated assurances that the refund would be issued, we still have not received it. Bottom Line: Based on this experience, I strongly recommend avoiding Appliance Medic. What was once a trustworthy company has, in my view, become unreliable and unprofessional. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS."
