"I want to tell you of the great experience I had with J&J Elite Carpentry. The relationship with them started with the owner Jose Lugo. We had to replace two old staircases that were falling off the wall and also to install hardwood floors in a foyer at the bottom of one of the staircases. After looking over the whole job and taking measurements Jose assured us that the job we needed and wanted could be done. This was important to us because the house is very old and you can imagine that it is not easy to work in old homes. Joseâ s team had to create a staircase around an old sewer pipe in the basement, it was a tricky job and they did a great job of creating a solid staircase to incorporate the pipe - they created the staircase on site. Leo, the head carpenter, ensured that the crew did a good job throughout. Any issues or concerns we had were taken care of. The project ran two days longer than we all expected but that was necessary and they did a beautiful job. Jose was attentive to what was going on and stopped by to see how the work was coming along - he was very pleasant to work with. They stand by their work and that is extremely important. And they cleaned up everything before they left. They did an excellent job - we are happy. We highly recommend J&J Elite Carpentry for your staircases and hardwood floors."

"After hiring a contractor to do an addition on my bathroom which required creating a front wall, attached to the the main front steps, the project went south rapidly (see before pictures attached). I decided to look for a seasoned carpenter exclusively in detailed woodwork, not knowing if there were such a thing. Skeptically, I contacted this company and after interviewing Diego, I was awed by the thorough inspection, and study he conducted of the project he faced. He was knowledgeable in the wood required, color scheme and details needed to meet my wishes. His price was reasonable despite the intricate worked he faced, and accommodating to my time schedule. Diego and Juan (his brother) were extremely polite, fantastic work ethics and very clean. They supperceed my expectations beyond believe (see after pictures) and will definitely hire them for all other intricate indoor wood work needed in my 200 year old home. Highly recommended them, don't look elsewhere!"

"Santo did such a beautiful and professional job. He remodeled our Powder Room by removing the old vanity and flooring. He installed a sink and tiled the floor. He painted, added molding and baseboards, repurposed a light by adding it to the powder room. He demolished our kitchen and then remodeled it so beautifully. He removed soffits that served no purpose, added new cabinets, added beautiful storage cabinets, put in molding, did custom wood work around our refrigerator so that the refrigerator blends in with the woodwork around it. He also added a lovely backsplash and painted. He then painted our first floor which consists of our living room, dining room, and hallway leading to our front door. He re-did the molding that we had initially done. He also put molding in our hallway that was not previously there. He then remodeled our basement. He put in walls, baseboards, doors, flooring, ceiling, column covers , he literally recreated the staircase that leads to the basement, and he painted. He worked with us by helping us pick the best cabinets and accessories needed for the kitchen. He was there with us when we were picking the new powder room sink and tile and fixtures. He went to the flooring stores with us so that we made sure to pick the best products for the basement. He also has many contacts and would go and pick up items needed to finish the job that we couldn't find in the main home stores. I can't say enough about Santo. He is professional and pleasant to work with. We have received so many compliments on his work from family and friends. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone! "Words cannot describe how well these guys did and everything they worked with us on. We had several small jobs and deck work. They painted our high vaulted walls and ceilings. They fixed our shower plumbing and added an acces panel for the shower. They installed a new ceiling fan. They re-faced our rotted deck and replaced several joists. Replaced both sets of stairs and set them in concrete. Amazing woodworking, professionalism, punctual, truly good people that you can actually trust. All work was done in a very timely fashion. We will definitely hire again for various projects around the house."
