"Had to move 70 feet of vinyl due to survey issues. Mike came in, very professional looked at the fence, gave a reasonable quote, and today came in with his 3 sons and I’m a few hours completed the dismantling and installing the fence at the correct property line. Great service, great people. If you need a fence Mike Fencing is the company to use"

Small jobs welcome

"We hired ZZeo's to remove carpeting and to install a wood floor in our dining room, also to prep the ceiling and walls for paint, and then paint it all. We are extremely satisfied with the workmanship and very happy with the results. There was no fuss, no drama, just a job well done. We will hire ZZeo's for future projects and we recommend ZZeo's highly to others."

"Triton Fence went above and beyond with my fence installation. This was by far the best experience that Iâ ve had as a homeowner. The entire process from scheduling the installation to the fence actually being installed was finished within 24 hours. I am so thankful that they were able to be flexible and install the fence without me being present due to my work schedule. I definitely recommend this company for anyone interested in getting a fence installed."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Yes, installing wrought iron fencing will usually require a building permit, as do all types of fencing. Building permits for wrought iron fencing typically cost between $150 and $500, and the price will vary based on where you live and how much your local building department charges. You may also need to pay for a property survey if you’re installing wrought iron fencing on your property line. This type of survey can cost around $500, but it prevents issues with building on neighboring properties, which can be much more expensive in the long run.

Check for gaps or weak spots where your dog could escape and seal them. Remove toxic plants, chemicals, and potentially hazardous items. The list includes cocoa bean mulch, which is harmful to pups if ingested.

It's also essential to provide shade and fresh water. You may want to consider installing a dog-friendly surface on concrete areas like artificial turf. Additionally, regularly inspect for potential hazards, such as sharp objects or broken glass. Most importantly, supervise your dog during outdoor time to ensure their safety.

Costs depend on material, labor, and additional features like gates or decorative elements.

You’ll need to bury the garden fence about 1 foot underground. It’s tempting to save on materials by burying the fence just a couple of inches, but if you do so, determined pests will still be able to dig under the fence and access your plants. Burying your garden fence deep into the soil is an important step that allows you to attach a wire barrier to the fencing.

Burrowing animals (like voles, moles, rabbits, and gophers) can’t dig or chew through this wiring, meaning that you’ll be keeping your prized petunias or your robust veggie garden from being eaten.

A silt fence should be buried in a trench that is 6 to 12 inches deep. A depth of at least 6 to 8 inches is necessary to prevent water and sediment from running underneath the fence. A deeper trench, up to 12 inches, provides better anchoring during wet and windy weather. To ensure proper installation, look for a red line on the silt fence fabric, which often indicates the correct burial depth. Always adhere to local guidelines and regulations; a professional contractor will be familiar with these requirements.
