"Chimney experts was very professional in both scheduling and the job. Al was very thorough to not only look at the chimney, but also to stay with me until we had fully built a fire and had it burning long enough to run a full test of the appliance. Would highly suggest for inspection and installation- they know the business well."

"Edison of A1-Dependable, LLC had answered my HomeAdvisor project request within 10 minutes when I entered it online. Edison's 3 man crew worked meticulously while replacing the leaking section of our pitched roof with new plywood sheathing, vapor barrier, ice shield and shingles. In addition to the needed roof repair work, I had discussed with Edison a request to install a stainless steel chimney liner and cap to exhaust our furnace and hot water heater. I also had Edison check our fireplace flue and chimney and we both agreed it needed a damper and a coating of ceramic cement that sealed the existing flue and chimney, It was needed and his additional quote for the chimney liner, the chain damper and ceramic cement spray application was very reasonable and fair compared to the national and local averages costs. As a former roofer in my younger years. I knew that the estimate was very fair by today's market, for our area code. In fact it was lower for the 3 projects combined. Edison's lead man Tony, identified the source of the leak, which turned out to be bad section of plywood sheathing. Mike and John did a great job of installing the chimney liner and hooking up the furnace and hot water heater exhausts. Tony sprayed the fireplace flue with the ceramic cement and sealed the flue liner very well. We can now safely enjoy our fireplace once again. I was particularly impressed with the professionalism the crew displayed. They were very polite and meticulous with the clean up. The 3 areas were spotless, when they finished for the day. They are one good crew. I highly recommend A1-Dependable, LLC for your project requirements. You will not be disappointed. Thank you very much Edison, Tony, Mike and John."

Chimney Liner Installation questions, answered by experts

It’s a good idea to call in a pro to fill in your pool, because there are many potential hazards to doing it yourself. Unless you’re careful, you can damage your septic tank, plumbing pipes, and sprinkler lines. It’s also possible to damage your sewer connections, utility lines, driveway, landscaping, and sidewalk.

Regular cleaning, pH balance, and avoiding sharp objects help prolong its life.

How long a pool liner lasts depends on the type of pool. Most in-ground pool liners last between six and 12 years, while aboveground pool liners last anywhere from six to 10 years. You can extend the life of your pool liner by maintaining proper pool chemistry, adding chemicals individually to avoid staining the liner, using a pool cover to protect it from the sun, and keeping sharp objects away from it.

It’s best to avoid having wrinkles in a new pool liner. Since pool liners are very thin, it’s easy to have slight wrinkles in the liner upon initial installation. This might negatively affect your pool’s visual appearance and lead to tearing and holes in some cases. You’ll want to ensure proper measurements and accurate alignment during the installation process to prevent unsightly wrinkles from appearing.

A high-quality vinyl pool liner can last 10 to 15 years with proper maintenance. However, factors like poor water chemistry, constant UV exposure, heavy use, or harsh weather can reduce its lifespan to as little as five to nine years. You should consider replacing your liner when you notice significant fading, discoloration, wrinkling, cracking, or multiple tears. If the liner is heavily damaged, it's best to have a professional inspect it.
