"Jeff is extremely conscientious, professional and client service oriented. His team did an excellent job of spackling and painting the entire interior of my house and was able to accommodate my schedule! They installed shoe molding along the entire edge of the flooring throughout. He was also able to recommend a special type of trim molding to follow the curve of the stairs. "Hired Joseph and Sons for a basement French drain installation. Angelo and team were easy to work with, professional, and communicated very well. Very fair on price as well. Our basement was already partially finished and they were great in that they did the demolition required, drain and pump install, and refinished the basement (drywall, flooring, etc.). For anything larger than that, you’ll need to cut out the affected section of drywall and replace it with a new piece. That’s a far more complicated process that involves buying the right type of drywall, finding the wall studs, cutting into your wall, and screwing the replacement drywall in place.

The age of your home can clue you in to whether you have plaster or drywall ceilings. Homes built after the ‘70s are more likely to have drywall ceilings and walls, while older homes have plaster. You can also do the pushpin test: A pushpin will go into drywall, whereas it’s much harder to push one into a plaster wall.
