"We hired AMF to replace our outdoor deck. Armando gave a fair price and started job promptly. His team arrived daily and worked diligently to get tasks done with completion date as promised. Our 1st time using them and we fully expect to use them again and referr them to family and friends. A job well done!!"

"I hired Kevin to assemble a chair/sleeper. On arrival, Kevin introduced himself and was very polite and respectful during the time he was in my home. He did a wonderful job, from start to finish!, and it didn’t take long for him to finish the project. I was impressed with the way he handled the job; first looking over the instructions provided by the manufacturer, even though he was confident about the job; he did not just take things for granted. I am VERY pleased with the results, and would not hesitate to hire him again for other projects, if needed. Thank you!"

Customers say: True professional

"The owner Robert was very knowledgeable and resourceful in designing and building the large deck around my pool. Whenever I had a question or concern, he called back or texted me within minutes, even when he was busy, which is unheard of when dealing with contractors. His quote was very competitive. and even though the project took much longer than he anticipated because of the complexity , he did not charge me anymore than the contracted price. There were delays in finishing the project , mostly as a result of inclimate weather but the end product was exemplary . it was a challenge to redesign a deck around my pool with very uneven fence and unlevel ground. His crew, Jose being lead , was very responsible and worked so hard. They paid such attention to detail and I could not be more pleased . I cannot wait until the summer when the pool opens to show off their great work. I would highly recommend Q&R and look forward to using them in the future"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Begin pool construction and installation by researching your flood zone designation and environmental compliance requirements. Next, commission a geotechnical soil assessment to determine if an in-ground structure is viable on your lot. Review zoning ordinances for proper setbacks from property lines and septic systems. Finally, have an electrician assess your home panel to ensure it supports the necessary equipment under NJ electrical codes.

Helpful?

Schedule pool construction and installation during the fall or winter for faster permit processing and better contractor availability. Spring is the critical planning window for a late May opening. If your yard in Brick shows signs of poor drainage, saturated soil, or seasonal flooding, start planning immediately. These signs indicate a high water table, requiring a thorough site evaluation before any groundwork begins.

Helpful?

Completing pool construction and installation provides immediate relief during hot, humid summers, creating a private staycation destination without crowded shore beaches. Long-term, a well-built pool significantly boosts property value in the competitive coastal real estate market. Adding heating systems or enclosures extends usability into the mild shoulder seasons. Furthermore, achieving full municipal and environmental compliance protects your Brick property from future liability and resale complications.

Helpful?

Unexpected expenses during pool construction and installation often stem from local soil and water conditions. High water tables in Brick require extensive dewatering during excavation, while sandy soils demand structural stabilization. You must also account for flood zone compliance, underground utility relocation, and strict environmental permits. Additionally, New Jersey state law mandates specific safety fencing enclosures, which surprise many homeowners who overlook barrier requirements.

Helpful?

Before starting pool construction and installation, safely prepare your site by clearing surface vegetation and debris. Review your property survey to locate septic systems, wells, and easements. Observe and document how your yard drains after heavy rain to understand local water table conditions. Always hire licensed contractors for excavation, structural modifications, or electrical work, as New Jersey enforces strict construction codes and environmental regulations.
