"I hired Adore for a partial chimney rebuild. Jack and Andy were a delight to work with. Very professional, easy to reach by phone, informative, cleaned up all debris and showed up when they said they would or called ahead to let me know they were running late. Jack pointed out and fixed a problem with 3 flash pipes on the roof which could cause a leak in the ceiling.. I would hire them again!"

"They are very professional team. Very good communication. They replaced chimney bricks above the roof, putted new stainless steel liner, and chimney cap. Very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them."

"I really did my research. I was truly determined to hire professionals who would get the job done right the first time. GM Construction did everything from replacing the roof on my shed to reinforcing a 20 yr old fence. I really appreciate it. Have they worked within my budget and did an efficient job without adding on costs. The extras, the things they really didn’t have to do were appreciated. They built me a new Chimney and determined that a Liner was needed. Reasonable prices really matter. Completion of work in a reasonable timeframe really matters. Friendly and efficient, communication really matters. Skill really matters. GM 1 Construction has it all."

"This company was in touch with me right away to estimate the work and schedule for the next available day (based on the weather). The chimney was leaking like a sieve and needed a complete rebuild. They took it down, did new brickwork and dampers, plus repaired water damage in the attic and resurfaced the chimney inside. Great, clean, professional work."

"I hired Akil to repair my roof last year, and to install liner in my chimney this year. He is prompt, on time, pleasant, and dedicated to a job well done. I rarely call contractors back more than once, as I often have less than satisfactory experiences…but Akil is the exception, and I would happily recommend him to others."

Chimney Liner Installation FAQs, answered by experts

It’s best to avoid having wrinkles in a new pool liner. Since pool liners are very thin, it’s easy to have slight wrinkles in the liner upon initial installation. This might negatively affect your pool’s visual appearance and lead to tearing and holes in some cases. You’ll want to ensure proper measurements and accurate alignment during the installation process to prevent unsightly wrinkles from appearing.

While you can perform some repairs to a pool liner without draining the pool, you’ll need to empty it to remove the old liner and install a new one. Since most pools don’t have a main drain, you’ll need to use a submersible pump or pool cover pump to drain the water. If you are installing a new liner, be sure to assess and repair the pool walls and floor to ensure a good installation for the new liner.

Clean regularly, balance water chemistry, and inspect for tears or wrinkles in the liner.

While you should avoid draining an above ground pool on a regular basis, it may be necessary if you are experiencing common signs of major pool problems. When you fully drain your pool, do so slowly with the proper equipment and always avoid draining on a very hot day. In many cases, the pool liner and equipment depend on the cooling effect of the water.

Some pool professionals recommend adding an extra layer of comfort and protection between your pool and the vinyl liner. Made from a range of plastic blends, these liners can absorb moisture, allow the pool liner to breathe, and act as an extra barrier for pests, burrowing animals, and mildew. They also provide an extra layer of comfort for swimmers.
