Cuccias Asphalt is a family owned business we offer free estimates are fuly insured and the owner Thomas is on all jobs from start to finish.

"NOT GOOD!!!!! They came to me looking for work and i provided work for them. They started off acting nice and trying to be polite.Long story short they convinced my to pay before the work was complete, When i question them they said we'll leave everything here, even offered to give me the keys to the paver. I should of took them. Because they came back the next morning loading up and never brought it back. Instead sent two guys in a pickup with shovels, racks and what look to be a 12" hand held vibrator to finish a spot appx 20' x 12'. There's footprints and many other poor workmanship eussies they said could and would be fixed .When ask multiply times when are you coming to make repairs. They either said today after we get done with another job or first thing in the morning. Which they never did (liars) Needless to say it looks like **** and after days of calling THEY NEVER CAME BACK"

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Instead of a set number of types, asphalt comes in variations designed for different needs. Some are categorized by temperature—hot mix, warm mix, and cold mix. Others are sorted by composition, like dense-graded, gap-graded (such as Stone Matrix Asphalt), porous, and mastic asphalt. There are also modified versions with added compounds like polymers, rubber, or emulsions. Instead of focusing on a number, it may be more useful to understand how contractors customize asphalt for durability, climate, and traffic conditions.

Regular cleaning, sealing, and timely repair of cracks help maintain its condition.

Yes, recycled asphalt driveway costs can be substantially lower than new asphalt. With new asphalt costing between $90 and $190 per ton, this option can cost as much as 10 times more than laying down asphalt millings.

The answer to whether or not you need to get a permit before you start your driveway can vary widely based on local ordinances and the scope of your driveway ideas. In most urban and suburban areas, a permit is needed before building a new driveway to ensure that a homeowner is using safe materials and proper drainage practices while designing and constructing a new driveway. In some rural areas, a homeowner may not be required to apply for a permit. When building a new driveway on your own, always check with your local building department to see if you need to request a permit. When hiring a driveway contractor, verify that the right permits are being used before driveway construction begins.

Think of the street as a way to capture all the elements on either side of the road, including the road—a street encompasses the homes or other buildings, the trees, and the road of a given area as defined by the beginning and end of the street on a map. A roadway, however, is the component of the street where cars travel.
