"During there paving project the company damaged my outdoor HVAC condensers even after I warmed them to use care around the elevated units. I advised the owner of the damage and have been after them for 6 months to live up to there word to repair the damage and honor the repair estimate which was provided to them by the HVAC contractor who preformed the original install and now I can’t get them on the phone and have to file a claim for over $7K in damages As well as the paving project ended up shrinking the width of my driveway by 1 foot on each side from the original foot print"

Removing fence posts that are set in concrete is something you can't do by hand. You will need an excavator, a strong post-puller, or a jackhammer. If you plan on recycling the concrete base, you may be able to cut the post out with a jackhammer and then set the new post in the existing base. Tree roots don’t necessarily break through concrete on their own, but they can certainly take advantage of existing cracks, even very small ones. As roots grow, they expand the cracks, making them larger and leading to serious and costly foundation damage. It’s a good idea to have repairs on any foundation cracks you’re concerned about.

Chimney removal often requires at least two people. Removing a chimney stack is a long process because it must be done brick by brick. A full demolition typically takes up to five days, while removing a chimney stack only may take one-half of a day to two days.

What you do with excess concrete depends on the amount you have left over. For large amounts of excess concrete, you can rent a dumpster from a company that specializes in concrete disposal. Another option is to take your leftover concrete to a landfill or transfer station—just make sure you call your preferred location first to make sure they accept concrete.

It’s far more labor-intensive and expensive to demolish a concrete slab before laying down pavers. You’ll need a professional to break up and haul away the concrete, excavate underneath, bring in paver base or crushed gravel, and then level the area with leveling sand before laying the pavers. A new paver patio will cost around $1,000 to $2,000, which is more than laying pavers over a concrete patio, and takes longer to complete.
