"Jim called back within a day of me requesting an estimate and came by a couple of days later and followed up with a written estimate by email. He knew immediately what had caused my front steps to fail. He started the work in a week or so. I was please that he offered me some choices and what would cost more or less. He was able to use most of the existing brick and stone. He updated me each day on how the project was going. Jim was great to work with and did a fabulous job. "I had a great experience with Garcia’s Landscaping from start to finish. Phone calls were returned promptly, and they showed up exactly on time, which I really appreciated. He took the time to walk through the project with me, offering helpful advice—especially on where mulch was needed since it had been quite a while. Garcia’s took down a tree for us, created a beautiful stone path, replanted several areas, and handled a range of landscaping tasks that had been neglected for years. His team of five arrived at 8:00 AM and worked nonstop until 5:30 PM, hauling brush, rocks, and tackling everything with impressive effort and efficiency. I honestly never saw them take a break. They even climbed up onto our extremely overgrown trellis to remove thick brush—something I wasn’t sure anyone would take on, but they handled it without hesitation. Communication was excellent throughout—he kept me informed about weather and materials so there were no surprises. The entire project was completed"

"I met with Gary in October to discuss adding a granite cap to my outdoor fire pit. The original fire pit stone and mortar had deteriorated. Gary was able to work with a stone quarry and have them create a round sold granite cap to go over the existing stone. The granite was delivered and placed on top of the pit today as he had to drive a truck across my lawn and we wanted to be sure the ground was frozen. He will return in the spring to finish the work by applying mortar under the granite and he will also do some stone wall repair at that time. While this project has been long and slow, Gary always quickly responded to my text and phone messages. The cost was more than I would like, but material costs are very high everywhere right now. I will definitely work with Gary again."

"Our house was built in the 1890's. The foundation is stone with multiple generations of mortar in various states of disrepair. Our original plan of interior foam insulation was disrupted by some dramatic seepage on the north side of the foundation. Northern Basements came to provide us with a few options for repair. The diagnostic visit was very informative and the estimates reasonable. We chose the exterior drain option and sent in our deposit. The team that completed the work was amazing in what they accomplished and their very professional demeanor. We also purchased a dehumidifier system from Northern Basements. One year later all systems have worked very well. The basement is dry and we have had no other issues.
