"Crew was super professional, worked hard in freezing temps and worked well together. They showed up on the day agreed to, the job took two and a half days. Piece by piece the trees were cut, small pieces were chipped and large pieces were stacked neatly and loaded into a couple of trucks and hauled away. Super professional company with a great crew. If you have trees that need to be taken down, this is the company to hire."

"This is a dishonest and corrupt businessman. Stay away from this arborist. He is corrupt! Hoag is unprofessional. He never talked to us about falling limbs around our home. Hoag went in to corruption with the management board, but told us his “major concern” was falling limbs and falling stems. This man is dishonest. Stay away!"

"The Cavanaugh arborist team came this morning to prune the long-neglected crabapples and to remove some poplars that were overgrown and soon to fall down. The team was impressively professional: they were fast, efficient, very neat, and nice. The arborist pruning the crabapples took real care, stepping back after each cut to look over the tree's shape, its position in the small grove, taking care not to take too much off. Excellent work!"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

A portable air filter system can generally last between five and ten years, provided it undergoes regular maintenance and cleaning. In some cases, the unit could last much longer. Whole-house air filtration systems that integrate with the home's ductwork can last for the lifetime of the existing HVAC system with proper maintenance.

Yes, professionals can replace worn-out motors to restore efficient airflow.

Inexpensive filters do an effective job of keeping your HVAC system clean and running properly. However, they usually aren’t the best at filtering out allergens and other pollutants. So, if you have pets, several people in your household, or allergies and asthma, you’ll want to invest in a higher-quality filter.

No, running your furnace without an air filter isn’t better than running it with a dirty filter. Even if it’s dirty, a filter will still prevent particles from blowing around your ducts and your house. However, neither of these options is good for your furnace or your health. Replace your filter once every one to three months for optimal furnace performance and air quality.

You should plan to change your AC unit's filter every one to three months, depending on the manufacturer's recommendations. You should also clean the coils at least once per year, but if you have pets or someone in your household has allergies, you might need to clean them more often. Fortunately, many pros will clean the coils and change the filter for you during an inspection, which you should schedule once or twice per year.
