"I was buying a new house, the home inspector had some questions about the attic joists and suggested I have a professional take a look at them. I needed it done quickly and I called three contractors. Matt from MMP was the only one that called me back the same day and agreed to come look at them the next day. He showed up on time, suggested a remedy and gave me an estimate. After buying the house I had him complete the work. It was done as promised in a very tight and dirty attic space, they cleaned up before leaving. I also chose Matt to replace my roof after getting three estimates. The crew did the complete job, chimney flashing, ice and water shield, small roof repair and venting channels in the attic. Clean up was great, no mess left in the yard. He was not the lowest estimate but all the work was done without any additional charges. I was very pleased with the results."

"Chris took my rough design, refined it and used his drawing for permitting and as a guide for subcontractors. Chris supervised excavation the foundation pour, utility connections and a variety of specialty contractors including plumbing and electrical, wallboard and plaster including the a very nice ceiling, windows and roofing. He did all the framing, rough and finish carpentry, flooring including tile, himself. There was no element of the build where he wasn’t intimately involved. Chris was considerate of my ideas, and enhanced and often expanded on the them. He was conscious of my budget and stretched my dollars without sacrificing quality. Two years later when a sliding door seal failed he replaced the door at no charge. My home is modest but “feels” bigger and more expensive than what it was. It is open concept with a lot of natural light. It takes advantage of passive solar heating and with my wood stove this 1800 square foot house makes it through the coldest winter without turning on the gas heat yet only consumed two cords of wood! It’s too bad Chris moved to the coast, contractors with integrity and skill are not easy to find. Our community’s loss, is Coastal Maine’s gain. I would be happy to recommend Chris to anyone in need of his many skills."

"When you find a great contractor, don’t let them go. ;). I hired Tim to build a screen porch under my deck but added several projects as I recognized the high quality of work and attention to detail from his crew. In addition to the screen porch, they built a deck extension - so nice that I decided to have them replace the existing deck, installed a basement slider and replaced the door, installed a new fence and built a shed. Tim was responsive, open, honest and receptive of my requests and additions during the project. Great experience working with Tim and his crew: Dan, Brian, Eddie and Ben. Great job on all the work - I’ve received many compliments from neighbors and guests on the work you did! I can’t recommend Tim and his crew enough."

"I’m generally not one to write reviews however when the experience far exceeded my expectations I believe in giving credit where credit is due, especially when it comes to small business owners. When I began the process of getting quotes to build my 2 car detached garage back in March, the most important factors for me in selecting a contractor were price, competence/quality of work, and trustworthiness (not necessarily in that order). Xavi, the owner of Xcc delivered on all three from start to finish. From the original quote which was fully itemized to show every last detail of the build to the final piece of trim installed, Xavi’s commitment to the job and open and honest communication style was exceptional. Xavi is a perfectionist, so if something isn’t 100% he won’t rest until it meets his standards - his crew is fantastic as well. Entering into a project of this size and cost can be a little intimidating given the amount of risk assumed by the homeowner and potential what if scenarios that can play out, ultimately will the builder will do what he says he will in the agreed timeframe? Xcc Builders will because Xavi is man of character who takes great pride in his work and fully understands the impact integrity has on his business’s reputation and long term success."

"We wanted to build on top of an existing garage, but extend out beyond the original building so as to accommodate two large rooms (a bedroom and a playroom), a bathroom and a balcony above and an outdoor dining-room below.. Turn Key Construction did an amazing job as you can see in the photographs. The entire team were courteous and friendly, and patient of the many changes I made as the build was progressing. They made the process enjoyable, and I really don't believe the work they did could be improved upon. We could not be happier with the results."
