Northern Ridge Painting and Remodeling is a full service painting, carpentry, hardwood flooring and composite decking company, servicing many communities in the Merrimack Valley and North Shore of Massachusetts and in Southern and Seacoast regions of New Hampshire. Our philosophy is built upon meeting and exceeding the expectations of every homeowner and to deliver quality workmanship our customers come to expect. Northern Ridge specializes in exterior painting, interior painting, hardwood flooring, and interior and exterior carpentry and repair. We pride ourselves on building our foundation and reputation one homeowner at a time!

I've hired many painters over the years, and it is not close, Northern Ridge was by an order of magnitude the best. The entire process was easy. From quote, scheduling, prep, painting, inspection, to follow-up, everything was handled professionally. Northern Ridge overcommunicated and was the best home contractor I have worked with. I have to mention how hard the team worked. They showed up early and worked hard until late in the day; the team was incredible.

Northern Ridge painted my kitchen, great room, bathroom, laundry room and downstairs hallway. This was a big job as they also painted all of my kitchen cabinets. We were torn as to getting all new cabinets or painting existing ones. We ended up painting and they came out like new. Cole and his entire team have the expertise to do cabinets the right way! Definitely a job that needs to be done by professionals. I can't say enough about how great it was working with this company. They show up on time, communicate well, and do high quality work. They also come back when job is done to go over any issues. you may have. I will be using them again to paint upstairs rooms and some outside touch up.

When they washed the house they left the residue on all windows. They did not sand any surface before painting.

"Unfortunately sanding was not included in your proposal, nor was window washing. The job was completed and paid in full with no mention of sanding or window cleaning at any time before, during or after the project was completed. As our goal is 100% customer satisfaction, we would have absolutely cleaned your windows and addressed any rough areas that you brought to our attention. It has been 5 months since the completion of the project and this is the first we have heard of the issue."

We were very pleased with Northern Ridge Painting & Remodeling and highly recommend them. We needed the outside trim of our house painted along with the shutters. Also the front door needed to be sanded, stained and re sealed. In addition we had areas of our trim removed and replaced/painted. Our home is large and it goes up quite high. Brian's team was very responsive from our first inquiry to his quick estimate. Their communication was spot on and they answered all our questions throughout the process. The whole crew was wonderful during the entire experience and cleaned up every day. The job was done in a timely manner and the work was excellent. There was a thorough walk around before the final payment to make sure everything was done properly and to our satisfaction. I would mot hesitate to call on Northern Ridge in the future.

From the estimate to the finish, this experience was excellent. Very professional from coming to give three sample painted sections, to repair work, to power washing, and final paint job, I could not be happier!!! The return phone calls and follow through also made this experience seamless. I would highly recommend this company.

When choosing a contractor for a big house project, such as full exterior painting, including a laundry list of carpentry work on our clapboard, we researched at length. Once we met Brian and received a prompt quote for our project, we knew who to move forward with. He has a drive for customer satisfaction, is very accommodating to special requests, is prompt in replying to questions, and ensures the job is done right before sending the final bill. We recently hired them to come back for some interior work during the colder months. Will recommend them to anyone and will be calling them back for future projects.

Working with Brian and Northern Ridge was a great experience - Excellent pricing and my deck looks terrifi!. Moustafa was a hard worker, very friendly and did a wonderful job staining the deck. Brian came back to look over everything and even made a few touch ups himself - I was very impressed with him and his entire crew. They were a joy to deal with and very professional. Brian came out, inspected my home, sent me a quote, provided me with a folder with their information and Certificate of Insurance, etc. The house needed carpentry work and painting. The carpenter was their first for a few days and then the two very nice painters came and worked very quickly. They are a smaller company and had a few other homes they were working on as well as ours. The job was fast, complete and they even did some extra things that we hadn't expected but were happy to pay for. They took all the debris and left our home perfectly clean and intact. We kept in touch via email and their admin was good as well. Wonderful team of guys and great effort. Would definitely hire them again.

We had a very positive experience with NorthernRidge Painting, specifically with Moustafa our painter. The entire company was professional, quality work Was completed and all were considerate and respectful of our property. We had other projects going on outside our home during this project and NorthernRidge seamlessly accomplished this project in a timely and very satisfactory manner,. Communication was immediate with Brian and Cole, even Nina was in touch with us to keep us apprised of any changes necessary in the schedule. A great company, weâ ll definitely use them again. .

Very happy from start to finish. Brian the owner personally viewed and estimated our house letting us know which clapboards needed to be replaced, where we might have rot and otherwise only paint was needed. Cole was our project manager who checked in with the team every day keeping an eye on the job's progress. He was always available to us and easy to work with. The team was talented and very professional. Looking back, everyone was mindful of doing a quality job while keeping the costs within reason. The original estimate was accurate covering the work to be done, the time frame and the cost. We would recommend hiring Northern Ridge for your house painting needs. I was so pleased with this company. The painters and the carpenters were pleasant to work with and cared about the quality of their work. They were neat and made sure I was happy before they left. The siding on our house is kind of rough and they made sure to put a decent amount of paint on each board. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Racist overtones, physical violence, police reports, horrible experience Need I say more. Yea, donâ  t recommend ...Updated 9/08/20... I am writing an addendum to my first review. I am giving Northridge a slight upgraded review. Even though they had to come back multiple times to fix painting and window screens that paint dripped on. Their foreman said donâ t worry, he would do the â quality controlâ review when their â independent contractorsâ (donâ t know where they hired them from) were done. He and the owner come bid the job and thatâ s basically the end of seeing them until their was a problem and at the end. That said, after pointing out all the unfinished painting/carpenter work, they are doing it. I appreciate that. I really donâ t try and write bad reviews. I only do it if my experience is really really bad. You can read them. With this paint company, I became involved in a police report. I just wanted my house painted. If you hire, keep an eye on their paint work. A lot of overspray and missed areas completely. Good luck!

"To our future customers: Unfortunately, this customer has chosen to use a hot button issue in our country as a means to damage local business. Northern Ridge did not and has not ever exhibited or displayed any type of racist behavior or racist "overtones". Our company is built on equality and over the past ten years, we have worked with customers, employees, and contractors of every race and religion without a single complaint or reference to racism. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in now, where anyone can accuse anyone else of something without repercussions. On the other accusations: There was a verbal altercation between two painters at the end of this customer's driveway, one of the parties involved called the police to resolve it. The police were present for 10 minutes, there were no arrests, no violence, and no police reports. All parties involved in the alteration were immediately terminated and our project manager was on-site within 30 minutes of the incident to speak with the customer and resolve any questions. We completed the project without incident and were paid in full, after the customer wrote the review, she actually attempted to hire us again to complete additional work on her home in October. 90% of the information in this review is false, and frankly, it's ridiculous. Please use the other 115 reviews of our business when making a final evaluation, this review is not an accurate observation of our business practices or real life."
