"My wife and I hired Chris to complete a patio install with a square fire pit in the middle. After choosing a design and different pavers from different manufacturers Chris was able to obtain all the needed materials and did a fantastic job."

Customers say: Quality work

"We hired this company to put in a patio in our pool area , and to place river stone in the garden area of the pool . The work was top quality. His workers were polite and very friendly. His work exceeded our expectations! And when the job was finished he clean up the site outside of the pool area to restore it back to normal, We can not say enough good things about this company. We would highly recommend this company!"

"Celtic Masonry was my 2nd hire off of Angie's List so I had high hopes based on my 1st experience. I'm happy to say I wasn't let down! Jim was great and easy to work with. His initial response to my pro quote request was within a few hours and we scheduled a time to meet within a few days. After initial visit, Jim came back a few times to discuss the project with me as I was still trying to figure out what I wanted. Once I decided on a project/design, he sent me a formal quote (very reasonable and competitively priced - I had 2 other quotes to compare to) within 48hrs and I agreed to move forward. Jim told me I was slotted in for mid-June...by end of 1st week of June, Jim reached out to let me know he'd be starting the work the following Monday. As promised, they arrived bright and early! The work was also completed on time. Work came out beautiful (and I’m picky!)!! Jim was great to work with, anytime I reached out to him I’d have a response within 24hrs. I’m already getting ideas about my back steps and I wouldn’t call anyone else! Thank you Jim for such great work!"

Patios questions, answered by experts

A covered deck can be a good investment that increases your home value—especially if you live in a hot region with a lot of sun. A covering over the deck means you can get more use out of it, even on the hottest summer days. With a permanent deck covering, you can even add ceiling fans to help cool down your deck for added comfort.

Yes, enclosing a patio to create a sunroom or three-season room is often a good idea that adds value to your home. This project increases your home's usable square footage and creates a versatile space for relaxing or entertaining that is filled with natural light and can be used in various weather conditions. Homeowners may see an average return on investment (ROI) of around 70%. The final value added will depend on factors such as the quality of the materials, the level of finish, and the amount of yard space that remains after the enclosure.

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.

If you have multiple rooms that could use some organization, home storage solutions like cubbies in your mudroom or built-in shelving can help you move clutter off the floor. Take it one step further by pairing shelves and cabinets with personalized aesthetic touches like woven or canvas lined metal baskets to add another organizational element.

Yes, a sunroom will require a permit. You may just need a general construction permit for a screened-in porch or solarium. For a three-season room with electricity and a four-season room with electric, heating, and cooling, you’ll need additional permits for each of the utilities, as well as a roofing permit.
