"This was in freezing conditions in an unheated seasonal camp. I took advantage of GSC Electric's Special Offer on Angie's list for a service panel replacement. The existing panel was put in sometime in the 1930's. It was a 60 amp service with only 4 circuits, each, it was discovered, overloaded. Greg had to deal with old wiring, pipes, and crawling under the place to route wires, and even had to drive grounding rods into the frozen dirt. Just about everything he looked at had been done wrong. Fortunately, he made time to rewire a 220 outlet and relocate the plug for the range for me. Lots more to be done, too. He does a great job. Take advantage of his specials like I did and you won't be disappointed.

"When working around the house I noticed that my main circuit breaker panel was suffering some severe corrosion which turned out to be due to a leak coming down the main power cable. NE Renovations had gotten good reviews so I asked them and others for a quote. The NE Renovations team (I believe sub-contractors) seemed to know the most about what they were doing and also helped me take temporary measures to stop the leak. When they came back to perform the job they were very quick, clean and professional. This included replacing the interior and exterior wall penetration, meter box, main feed cable and some pieces on the circuit breaker panel. They also dealt with the town for permits and the electric company for pulling the box. Overall they did exactly what they said for the price that they quoted and I was very pleased with their service. I also used two of the Angie's List "BigDeal" coupons, which they handled without any problems. I would definitely recommend them to others.

- -Tarp barn and grounds prior to stripping the existing roof, (barn is to be protected from leaks at all times. Contractor is to repair or restore any damages caused from leaks).
-Remove all the existing roofing material to wood sheathing, re nail any loose sheathing.
-Remove brick chimney to below roof line.
-Remove and dispose of any and all job related debris per state and federal requirements.
-Magnetic sweep all affected areas.
-Install new 7/16 OSB sheathing to the entire roof area.
-Install new .018 white 8? aluminum drip edge to all roof edges.
-Install Owens Corning Pro Armor high performance roof underlayment to all areas.
-Install Owens Corning Starter Plus starter shingle to all eve and rake edges.
-Install Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration lifetime roof shingle,
-Install Owens Corning ProEdge hip and ridge shingle to all ridges.
-All shingles are to be installed with six nails.
-warrantee any labor issues including leaks for ten years.
-Contractor is to provide insurance certificate prior to start of work.
-All work is to be done in a neat and workmanlike manner.
Contractor met all committed timelines (job was completed in one day) and contract provisions. Contractor's team were professional an personable.

"We've used them for 16 years between our two homes.The cost is very reasonable.We pay a service fee visit. If its not covered, let say when our dishwasher was replaced. We wanted a more expensive one so we paid the difference."
