We are a family owned business with the experience necessary to handle large projects from roads and parking lots to residential driveways, yet small enough to know your name and not consider you just another number. We keep a small crew of about 4-6 highly experienced members that have been with us long enough to be considered family. We own all our equipment and do not subcontract our work. We not only install all our own work but also do all the sales so we can give extremely competitive rates that do not include sales commissions, equipment rentals or hourly trucking rates. We accept all forms of payment from credit cards to checks and depending on the scale of the project we can complete most jobs with a small deposit after a signed contract has been agreed upon. We are an honest company that is more than happy to offer you multiple options that better suits your needs.

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Professional services ensure precise concrete delivery, mixing quality, and timeline adherence and provide necessary tools for efficient use.

Yes, you can pour concrete if it rained the day before, but you’ll need to drain the construction site to ensure there isn’t standing water where your slab will sit. You might need to manually remove any puddles and set up drainage on your site to dry it before pouring. Moist soil won’t be an issue, but standing water will throw off your concrete mix ratios. Additionally, ensure there isn’t more rain expected in the near future before you pour.

Concrete sealers will help your garage floors resist water, but they will not make the floor waterproof. You will need to purchase a specific waterproof floor paint for concrete and apply several coats over several days if you want your garage floor to be truly impermeable. While the process is similar to sealing the floors, the materials are different, and the need for multiple coats will extend the process and drying time.

Pervious concrete should be between 4 and 8 inches thick to drain water properly. Surfaces like parking lots and driveways should be at least 6 inches thick to accommodate the weight of vehicles, while patios and walkways may be poured between 4 and 6 inches thick. There’s no standard for pervious concrete thickness, but in most cases, the more weight the surface will need to hold, the thicker it should be.

Concrete stain is usually better than dye for longevity because it is more durable and shows less wear and tear. While stain is not as saturated as dye, it gives you more control over the final look of the concrete countertops.
