"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

"The system arrived a few days later than they said it would.   Installation of most of the sensors was fairly straight forward.  However, the window sensors can be very tricky depending upon the depth and configuration of your sliders and window casements.  Their install literature did not thoroughly address every configuration, however, Frontpoint's telephone consultatnts were very good about explaining how to deal with our particular installation situation.  We needed some extra parts to be able to fit our deep window casements, and Frontpoint expressed those pads to us right away so I could complete the install.
The smoke detectors are supposed to stick to the ceiling with the provided 3M double sided tape.  The tape did not hold at all on our textured ceilings.  It was easy to drill a couple of holes and use expansion screws for a more secure install on the smoke detectors.  That is not covered in the literature nor do they provide the screws.  However, I do a lot of my own work around the house so it was no big deal.
One of the door sensors was not properly programmed at Frontpoint, so they had me take it down and walked me through pairing it to the control panel.  Then I was able to reinstall it.  They really should have thoroughly tested the system prior to shipping.
After working out the initial install challenges and getting all the sensors tested clean, everything worked fine.  We tested every sensor in the system and then intentionally set off the alarm.  Frontpoint called within one minute.
The web tools are fabulous and the system appears to work as advertised.   We've been using it for about one month with no issues and no false alarms.   Overall, I have a very favorable opinion of the system and the company.  I would still choose Frontpoint over ADT or Protection One."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best paver for your pool deck depends on your budget, style, and how much maintenance you’re willing to invest. Granite is one of the best low-cost pavers for pool decks. It’s very slip-resistant and durable, too, making it a top pick. Travertine is a high-quality material that resists freeze-thaw cycles, looks stunning, and won’t get hot in the summer. The only downside to travertine is that it costs more than granite.

Pressure-treated wood contains preservatives that give the material internal protection from rot and pests. Untreated lumber won’t last more than a few years unless you choose a more expensive wood, like cedar, that naturally stands up well to moisture. Composite decking can outlast wood but is more expensive and doesn’t look as natural. Keep in mind that you’ll need to seal any exterior wood product to protect it from the elements and other forms of external damage.

You do not have to dig footers for a deck as long as it meets local code and holds up to weather in your area. If you live somewhere that experiences high winds and earthquakes, you may need to dig for your deck posts. Deck blocks, post anchors with base plates, and helical pile systems are the three no-dig deck post options you can choose from if local code permits.

Applying too much sealer to a deck might seem like extra protection, but it can cause more harm than good. Wood is a porous material with a limited capacity to absorb liquids. When you go overboard with sealer, the excess can't soak in and instead forms a film on the surface. This leftover layer is prone to peeling, cracking, and trapping moisture, ultimately defeating the purpose of sealing in the first place.

Yes, you can draw your own deck plans in many cases. However, you must know your local building codes and be familiar with carpentry principles. Even then, it's always best to run your plans by a professional contractor with experience building decks, whether you choose to DIY some of the build or not.
