"We had to convert a tub/shower in a 1979 mobile home into a walk in shower for my husband. I had gotten a couple of quotes for tile but upon seeing the Onyxstone product's clean lines we decided the extra cost would be worth it. We are very happy with the results. This is a USA made to order product that had about a 5 week wait but the owner called every week with an update and it came in on time. .My husband and I are extremely happy with our choice of Hill Country Tub and Tile. Luckily, there were no unexpected problems like mold or leaking water so Mike and his helper were able to do the demolition and install in just one day. They even had enough battery operated lights and tools with them so they continue to work during a 1 hour KPUB electric outage. When they left, the bathroom was spotless and we are looking forward to trying it out tomorrow."

"I hired HMD to help with the interior design of my 17 year old's bedroom. The end product turned out great. Amanda is a very creative designer, and had a lot of great suggestions, was easy to work with. The final product was a custom desk, new paint, new headboard, drapery hardware and drapery that matched our existing duvet cover, and a comfy chair that could pull out into a bed for sleepovers. It ended up being very convenient to this virtually, even selecting some of the furniture elements. This was a learning process for me, understanding how HMD worked. Make sure you really communicate what you want, collaborate with feedback through the process, and make sure you measure everything (current and new) yourself to help ensure the end product ends up fitting correctly. It took longer than I had anticipated, and it would have been helpful to have had more insight on the general project timeframe to set my expectations, which is the reason I gave a B in responsiveness and punctuality. I did provide feedback to Amanda and Jeff during and after the process and they were very receptive to feedback, and responded quickly. I have already seen many positive changes to their service. I have hired them again to do another bedroom, and would definitely recommend them, which is why I gave them an A overall."

On average, a plumber will take 30 minutes to two hours to clear a clogged drain. If the clog is located close to the drain or an access point and isn’t severe, the project will take about half an hour. If the clog is deep within your plumbing system or is a severe blockage, it can take two or more hours to remove the clog. For this reason, main line clogs tend to take longer, usually between two and three hours.
It’s possible to snake minor drain clogs yourself, provided they sit within a foot or two of the drain itself, but it’s usually best to hire a professional plumber regardless. Even experienced DIYers have a high chance of accidentally pushing the clog further into the drain using a drain snake or another tool, so hiring a plumber is the ideal course of action. A professional plumber can use camera equipment to locate and identify the clog, and remove the entire blockage to fix your issue permanently.
In most areas, drain cleaning professionals don’t technically need a license, as they aren’t altering your plumbing system in any way. However, we recommend hiring a drain cleaning professional with a plumbing license and certification. Certified plumbers are more likely to provide professional solutions to drain clogs without damaging your system. They’ll also have the diagnostic tools and experience necessary to remove the clog entirely rather than providing a temporary solution, as a handyperson might. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your plumber’s professional licenses before hiring.
Applying drain cleaner is a common DIY solution to clogged drains, but it can be extremely harmful to your pipes and lead to corrosion and leaks. It is almost always better to try snaking a clog than using a drain cleaner, but the best solution is to hire a professional plumber. They can locate the clog and gauge the severity using a camera system and then decide if using a plumber’s snake, auger, or drain cleaner is the best option to remove the clog and limit damage to your plumbing system.
The average cost to unclog a drain is around $200, with prices ranging between $110 and $800, depending on the type of drain and the extent of the clog. Hiring a professional to snake the toilet or sink will usually cost between $110 and $275, a bathtub or shower typically costs around $225, and a main line clog can cost between $100 and $800 based on the severity of the clog and how far beyond the access point the clog sits. Since the labor involved varies, most plumbers will charge an hourly rate for drain cleaning.
