I appreciated the Dabella salesman's design/professional recommendations and walking us through each step of the process. For example, he recommended the kitchen window open up and down instead of left and right which it was before. I can see our backyard instead of a wooden bar while doing dishes now. I noticed a huge difference in the quality and look compared to our old windows. When I first came home after the install, I literally said “I can see out of our windows so well!” I didn't even realize how bad our old windows were until that moment. Our energy bill has gone down over $100 a month since the install. Besides the savings, our house feels so much better. It feels cool on hot days and warm & cozy on cold days. "To be clear on what I am being asked to rate .... Choice is asking me to rate the repair service man that showed up to repair - NOT their warranty service itself. These are two different things. I rate the repair man - high. The warranty company itself - ONE STAR. See they advertise this great warrantee .... but when you go to use it ..... in all the fine print .... they write themselves out of responsibility to take care of your problem so BE CAUTIOUS when choosing to purchase this warranty. I have had this warranty for two years ... never needed it. Then my microwave goes on the blink. Took three weeks to get a repair man to my house and a resolution which ended in basically a non- resolution. They opted to replace vs. repair .... somehow figured my microwave was 10 years old - which is a joke and in the wind gave me $191 to replace it - and this is after I paid the $65 service fee. This is for replacement and installation. See in item #9 of the contract it states they ARE responsible for ALL components (excepts handles, door glass, etc). BUT ... then in #16 it states they do not have to repair ... they can opt to offer replacement costs (THEIR supposed costs - which is NOT retail) so for my $319 microwave +$110 installation it is costing me to replace - They OPTED to give me $$191 minus my $65 service fee ..... which ends up being $123. This is a bunch of ********. They know it and I know it. SO .... if this is how they do on a microwave .... I can ONLY imaging what they will do on something big. So ..... I have zero confidence in this company at this point and as soon as this claim settles out - I receive my whopping $191 ... I plan to cancel this warranty and go with another home warranty company. Maybe they will appreciate my business because this one sure did not. They proved that on this small claim. I do t trust them to risk it if there happened to be a larger claim. Horrible is all I can say."

"We contacted them; they sent out someone to replace the glass.  I mentioned the temperature not being efficient and they checked both ovens because I was having to use one of the other ovens because of the cracked door, and that yes indeed that filament wasn't heating properly.  While they were here they checked the filament in the oven with the broken glass in the door and that one wasn't heating properly, so the technician reported that we might need a new oven.  And I guess after them finding out that there were no parts available, they supplied us with a new oven.  That was something we were wanting to do on our own some day.  So they replaced our oven; we were happy with that.  We were able to replace an ugly oven that had other issues, it was missing some of the trim, and it was probably the second oven for this older home.  For their price, I think American Home Shield is about average; I mean, they're a typical home warranty company.  They're not cheaper than anybody else.  I had to call them to find out that we were getting the new oven.  We had the technician out, someone was gonna get back with us, and about a week went by and I had to make a phone call and find out that they were gonna give us an oven. "
