National supplier of wholesale aluminum fence. NOW OFFERING: Installations of any fence in the Raleigh, NC area. We specialize in a variety of unique fence styles designed for around your pool or your backyard. Ships directly from the manufacturer to your home or office. Great for the small fence contractor and the Do-It-Yourself home owners as well.

"I am a Fence Contractor. Initially everything went very smoothly, but then it all began to fall apart. I ordered 170 feet of fence with two gates. Two weeks later, I found out that there had been a delay with the manufacturing process (they have a promise time of 2 weeks to ship). This would have been fine if I had heard from them about the delay. Now I have to tell my client it would be delayed. When the fence finally arrived, it was missing a gate, because Mark sent the wrong invoice to the manufacturer. Instead of compensating me for the mistake, which affects my promise time, scheduling and relationship with my client, he just said, "Sometimes issues pop up with powder coating machines or personnel issues (Covid) or shipping issues, all out of our control. I don’t think it’s necessary to compensate for being a little late." All in all, it took 35 days from pay date to receive the product. Through it all, I had to contact them every time to find out why everything was late."

Childproofing services FAQs

In many cases, you can DIY home childproofing with success. You can purchase childproofing tools like cabinet locks, outlet covers, and table-edge guards and install them easily.

However, it's best to have a professional childproofing service work on larger projects like pool safety or furniture anchoring. These safety measures can take a lot of time and effort to DIY, plus, you want to ensure the tasks are done correctly to keep your child safe.

Many parents, especially first-time parents, agree that professional childproofing is worth it. These professional childproofing services are trained to recognize dangerous home situations that many people would overlook until it's too late. Furthermore, professional childproofing experts have access to top-of-the-line equipment you can't purchase at most stores, providing longevity and peace of mind.

A professional childproofer will first survey your home to identify potentially dangerous locations, including stairs, cabinets, and pools. Once approved, your professional will order and install the safety equipment for you.

Some ways a childproofing professional will make your home safe include:

  • Anchoring large furniture

  • Installing safety gates

  • Installing safety latches on cabinets and drawers

  • Covering railings that could trap a child

  • Covering electrical outlets

  • Installing a swimming pool fence

  • Removing or covering electrical cords where possible

The average cost of childproofing services is $410. This cost can range from $190 to $630 or more, depending on the size of your home and what services you need.

The location of the childproofing additions also plays a vital role in the overall cost. For example, a bathroom is relatively small and costs about $150 to fully childproof. However, if you have a swimming pool, you could spend as much as $1,500 to $10,000 to make it entirely safe for small children, including adding a pool fence.

The best time to hire a childproofing professional is at least three months before your due date. Although it might seem early, proper childproofing takes time, especially if you need extensive services like a pool fence. Getting your house ready now before your child is on the go only helps to protect them at all stages of life.
