"It was a pleasure working with the Drywall Doc to drywall my kitchen and hallway. They were great with communication, ended up being able to start the project earlier than planned, and finished earlier than expected. Their price was very fair and the work was high quality and thorough. I'll likely hire them again if I have any future projects related to walls or ceilings. Thank you!"

"T’s Wallcovering saved the day! A long sad story short, I had hired another wallpaper installer who completely botched the job on my commode in the master bath. I was now desperate, with one week before contractor completion, to find a competent wallpaper installer or send back all the wallpaper and just paint the darn room! In swings T’s Wallcovering! Trevor was immediately responsive via text message. He was upfront about how many rolls I would need and his quote was more than resonable. He worked with my schedule when the wallpaper didn’t arrive on time and was extremely flexible. His partner, Mikey, and Trevor were more than professional. They finished the job in less than 3 hours and left the room spotless. I couldn’t be happier with T’s Wallpaper service, and wish I had more rooms to wallpaper so I could use them again! You won’t be disappointed if you choose :)"

"Rafael did a wonderful and detailed job. He repaired and painted the exterior of my 1700 sq/ft house going for sale and made it look like new. He is trustful, dependable, punctual and dedicated. I’ll hired him without doubt if I’d ever need him again."

"Hard working crew. What would have taken an average crew of 4, 2 weeks to finish, these guys did in 5 days. Owner came within an hour to give estimate. I added a couple of small jobs after the estimate and they charged no extra. These guys know exterior and interior restoration. Our log home hadn’t been treated in over 10 years but no looks better than ever. Project Foreman presented me with any issues as he found them and gave me options. My neighbors have now hired them. Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Yes, peel-and-stick wallpaper is available that’s made from vinyl—it actually is the most common material used in peel-and-stick wallpaper. Learning how to install vinyl wallpaper is far easier when you’re using a peel-and-stick design than with adhesive. You could also select peel-and-stick wallpaper that consists of paper, polyester, or natural fibers.

Painting over wallpaper is an efficient way to cover it if it’s in decent shape. Before painting over wallpaper, make sure the surface is clean and smooth. You may have to remove minor problem areas, such as lifted seams or small peels, with a sheetrock knife or putty knife. Add a latex- or oil-based primer to keep moisture at bay before painting. You’ll likely need two coats of paint to cover the area.

Many types of wallpaper exist, from removable peel-and-stick options to more permanent options that involve pasting. You can also find wallpaper that you can paint over, wallpaper with a texture, and wallpaper made from various materials, such as vinyl. Some types of wallpaper are washable, which can be a great option for kitchens or if your household has small children.

No, you don’t always have to remove old wallpaper before applying a new layer. However, you should pull off the existing wallpaper if it’s cracked, peeling, or in poor condition. We’d also recommend against putting wallpaper over textured or dark-colored wallpaper because the old layer may be visible through the new one. In addition, if you try to hang new wallpaper over vinyl-coated wallpaper, the adhesive might not stick properly.

In most cases, it is not recommended to wallpaper over existing wallpaper, as the success depends on the type of paper already on the wall. While you might be able to cover non-coated wallpaper, you should never apply new wallpaper over a vinyl-coated one, which is more common. Doing so can lead to poor adhesion, resulting in bubbles, imperfections, and peeling. It can also trap moisture, potentially causing hazardous mold growth between the layers.

Even if the existing wallpaper is suitable, experts recommend applying only one new layer. Adding multiple layers (more than two total) can cause significant adhesion problems, leading to warping and bubbling. For the best results, the recommended approach is to remove the old wallpaper and all paste residue before hanging the new paper. If you are unsure about your wallpaper type, consider consulting a professional.
