"On January 9, 2024, we experienced what we now know was a 25-year rain. Unfortunately, our entire basement flooded with rising waters at a rate we could not control. Water entry began at approximately 2 pm. We were unhinged! Once we realized we were handcuffed to the situation, we started processing, “How are we getting this water out of here?” After several phone calls and a Facebook post, one of our sweet friends mentioned United Water Restoration Group. The owner was a patient of hers, and she highly recommended his company. I called immediately, and Rob answered. In less than two hours, he and his team arrived at our home and instantly started extracting the water. They lifted our furniture onto protective footings, rolled up rugs, immediately brought in ten drying fans, and three industrial-sized dehumidifiers. They did it with the utmost care and efficiency. The entire team was amazingly professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. Equipment was clean and powerful. It took more than a week to dry out. Every single day, someone from their team either called or stopped by to check on the progress. I can honestly say, our story would have had a much different result had it not been for this company’s promptness and attention to detail. We are entirely grateful that water was only an issue for a matter of a few hours - thanks to this fantastic company. "My house had been infested with mold for countless years, I hadn’t the money to hire anyone. My friend’s family had just started their business recently and told me they would do the job for cheaper so I asked; they did. They were quick and respectful—in and out—and made sure to not shirk an inch of the property. I’m grateful to them I can finally breath freely in my house without worry of inhaling toxic materials. While they were there one of their workers, Juan, noticed a leak of sewage in the basement. He spent the rest of his available time to dry out the sewage and properly clear the leak.
