"Mike and Crystal were very professional from the first phone contact through the completion of the work. They showed up on time, their work was neat and they worked very efficiently. My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. In the end we received a very good paint job on a timely basis and at a competitive price. We called them and asked them to build a custom deck.  He came out and started our deck immediately and added benches and different levels.  He took our design and added to it and made our dream deck better that we could have imagined.

The price was better than we thought it would be.

"After setting a start date Mr. Hargrove failed to show up and sent someone who we never met to pick up the installment pay. He was not knowledgeable about the job he was contracted to do. The railings were not installed correctly in fact it was a safety issue - if leaned on one could possibly knock it over. Called several times requesting him to repair, made false promises. To correct the problem we hired someone else to correct the job.

"This company worked with our insurance company to replace our roof.  Our only out of pocket expense was our insurance deductible plus for the ridge vent we wanted but insurance wouldn't cover.  Their cost was better than another company we had gotten an estimate from.  All our communication was through the owner, Tom Gentry.  Tom made us felt comfortable from the beginning and we were sure they could be trusted.  We were right!  They did a great job and treated us fairly.  My only regret is that they are pretty far from Raleigh and can't help us with other household repairs we need!  If you need a company that does a great job and treats you fairly, look no further than General Repairs and Restoration!
