"We had an issue with the AC unit in our crawl which caused a mold condition. Mold spores were circulating throughout or home unbeknownst to us at the time. The condition was found after an extensive search given that our daughter experienced sever symptoms that no other family member experienced. Our daughter was diagnosed with a CIRS condition which made her more prone to mold amounts that others would not normally be sensitive to. We had 2 contractors replace our AC unit and crawl ducts followed by a full encapsulation. We then requested 4 quotes to remediate the dead spores from our 2 level home. The quotes were all over the place with one being opportunistically high given our location and daughters condition. Mold Hunter provided a fair quote and we went with their services. Job took a few weeks to schedule. The crew arrived promptly on the appointment day. The job took 3 days to complete with large scrubbers running 24/7. Air testing was performed which indicated a positive outcome. When we reintroduced our daughter to the home she felt sensitivity to the in home environment. We called the owner of Mold Hunter Mike Smith, who came to our home and spent an hour reviewing our situation to better understanding our daughters sensitivities. Mike offered to bring back a crew and add a protocol for remediation that was suggested by my daughters health provider. It was at no additional expense to us.
