"There was a section of vinyl caulk that was installed between the backsplash and the counter. The caulk was old and deteriorated and became dis colored and did not cure. Since the problem was caused by the initial installation, Granite Transformation should have corrected the work under warantee. In fact, they want to charge me a service call. Since they did not stand behind their work, I would not recommend them. I had to call them back to repair plumbing problems, They failed to plug in the refrigerator completely. Beautiful job, but for &7,000 they should stand behind their work

Immediately upon arrival an initial review was done and it needed a little more work than anticipated, however they adapted and had it done in no time! "The salesman was personable, and easy to work with. However, after the work began, we contacted him, and he did not return the call. He called the President of the company to deal with our concerns. The work actually took three days. One the first day, the technicians came promply and worked dilligently. They ran into some problems, but corrected those, and continued. One of the handrails did not arrive (it was not ordered), but they promised it would come the next day. The second day, they arrived promply, however, the weather took a turn, and we offered to let them leave around lunch to avoid the accumulating snow. They did bring the handrail, that was not ordered (however, it turned out to be chrome, not brushed nickel). They left, promising they would return by 8:00 the next (Sat) morning. When they had not arrived by 9:30, we called the salesman to inquire about the technicians, concerned that they had had bad luck in the weather situation of the preceding day. We left a voice mail, and we did not hear back from him. This is when he chose not to call us back, but instead called the President. The technicians arrived, concerned that we were upset, and we assured them that we were simply concerned about their safety. They completed the job that afternoon.
We were asked to fill out a survey, and submit and add questions/comments to the company. We did complete the survey, conveying questions that we had. Some areas needed to be caulked (that were missed), and we wanted to know where we could get the caulk to match what Luxury Bath used. We never received a response.
When all said and done, we love the walk-in shower and were very impressed with the installers. Not so much so with the company. We have yet to hear anything further from them, since the walk-in shower was installed.

"They could have done the job but were not able to complete it. They had the equipment in the company but it was not going to be available for 4 days. Otherwise, they would get a really high rating. They did not charge me. American Home Shield sent them and used the copay that I had given to the other plumbing company. They did a good job. The only problem was that it was going to take 3 or 4 days before they were going to be able to get back because there had been a death in the company and they were kind of in turmoil.   They were good and very professional. They were timely and knew exactly what they were doing and knew what had to be done. It was just that because of circumstances in the company that they could not get somebody out to perform that duty for those 4 days. The price was good, I did not pay anything. They came right out. There is no doubt in my mind given the professionalism that the plumber that came out was going to be able to fix it. I just could not wait 4 days. They were upfront about it and apologized profusely because they could not get the job done."
