"Joseph from Dogwood Pressure Washing responded immediately to our inquiry about roof and gutter cleaning. He came out that afternoon to provide an estimate and was able to schedule the work several days later. We have a flat roof that nearly always holds standing water and wet leaves, a situation made worse with debris from Hurricane Ian. Joseph did an outstanding job cleaning the roof and gutters as well as the resulting mess on the deck and in the yard. He was professional, efficient, and friendly. We highly recommend this company and have arranged to have them clean our roof and gutters on a regular schedule."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Follow recommendations for removal or remediation to ensure a safe living environment.

The best disposal method for hazardous waste is recycling or donation, if possible. That way, the world can reduce its consumption of raw materials and the volume at which materials have to be treated and disposed of. If recycling or donation is not an option, most waste can be disposed of through landfills or incinerators, but their collection and treatment are separate from regular day-to-day waste disposal.

If lead is detected in a property, steps should include arranging for professional removal or containment, notifying all occupants, and implementing interim safety measures to reduce exposure.

Lead removal can take a few days to several weeks, depending on the work needed, particularly if the lead is widespread and in hard-to-reach areas.

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.
