"Absolutely wonderful! Mr. Harris was very friendly, but professional. The crew came when they said they would. They worked 'til the job was completed, which was less than a day. The price was very reasonable. I am extremely satisfied! I highly recommend Pave All without hesitation."

"The entire process for the removal of 5 trees from our yard was professional and very well organized by Sanders Tree Services. Three (3) of the trees removed were very large pine trees in directly in front of our house and the other two trees were medium size and on the side of our driveway. The use of a crane, tree limb grinder, log remover, and stump grinder was much appreciated! There was very little evidence in our yard that the four pieces of equipment had been used and the clean-up process was very good. We were especially fascinated by the crane operation! All workers involved in this project were very customer focused. We highly recommend the use of Sanders Tree Services for tree removal. When needed, we will use them again."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Maintaining a driveway depends on its material. For concrete and asphalt, it's best to clean the surface thoroughly twice a year with a stiff broom and a pressure washer to remove accumulated dirt and debris. Sealing the driveway is crucial to protect it from water damage and freeze-thaw cycles. Before applying a sealant, pressure wash the surface to remove any loose sealant, dirt, or stains, as sealing over them will trap them. Any cracks or expansion joints should be filled with a flexible polyurethane caulk or asphalt sealer. In colder climates, use sand instead of salt for de-icing. Sand helps melt snow and ice without accelerating the freeze-thaw process, which can cause cracks.

If your new pavers look dull or unclean, it is likely due to efflorescence, a chalky, white powder that forms when lime in the pavers gets wet. This condition often resolves on its own, as rain will naturally wash it away within about a year. For faster results, you can use a pressure washer to clean the pavers. Alternatively, consider using cleaning products specifically designed to remove efflorescence or applying sulfuric acid crystals.

Think of the street as a way to capture all the elements on either side of the road, including the road—a street encompasses the homes or other buildings, the trees, and the road of a given area as defined by the beginning and end of the street on a map. A roadway, however, is the component of the street where cars travel.

Heated driveways cost an average of $12 to $25 per square foot. Depending on the size of your driveway, you may pay between $3,500 to $25,000 in total. Several factors can affect your bottom line, including material, labor, and system types. Investing in a heated driveway can save on snow removal costs because it will automatically melt the snow that falls on your driveway.

While it may be less expensive initially to lay concrete vs. pavers, the long-term expenses that come with repairing concrete may prove to be less cost-friendly than simply replacing a few damaged pavers. On top of that, stamped concrete may only last for 25 years compared to pavers, which can last over 50 years.
