"Jessica- the Owner- came to my house to give me an estimate for clearing my front yard, installing landscaping fabric to prevent weeds, removing old bushes, planting new bushes, and finishing with a new landscaping design, including plants, mulch, and pea pebbles. I also had her crew trim a Crepe Myrtle Tree that was over 2 stories high. Jessica and her crew finished the entire project in 1 day! Some of her crew worked for more that 12 hours, until the yard was completely finished in only 1 day!! The crew Within hours of the yard being completely done, several of my neighbors came over, and they all really liked the design of the yard. I am very pleased with how the yard turned out!! I would definitely highly recommend Jessica and her company, A Woman Can Landscaping and Gardening."

If you live in an area with heavy rain or you like the idea of an extra layer of cushion under your feet, you may want to consider adding additional layers under your grass. There are pads that are purely for comfort and ones that can help accelerate drainage for those heavy rains.

Moss attaches to the ground but doesn’t have roots, so it can take four to six weeks for establishment to begin. It takes between 12 and 18 months for full coverage, and maximum thickness takes about two years. Keep your moss moist and debris-free to ensure it establishes itself well.

The best time to plant a privet hedge is autumn, ideally October or early November. Fall is the best time to plant privet hedges because young plants need plenty of water to jump-start their growth, and it typically rains more during this season. However, you can also successfully plant privets in the spring.

Yes, weeds can still grow in decomposed granite. If properly compacted, it can act as a good weed suppressant, meaning you’ll only pull weeds occasionally. But no ground cover is completely weed-proof. To further prevent weeds, you can try spraying your decomposed granite with distilled white vinegar.

You should plant trees at least 15 to 20 feet away from your house, and more if the tree will grow large and spread its limbs. Trees pose several dangers to houses when planted too close. They can litter the roof with leaves and branches, create fire hazards, make a ladder for larger pests, and even damage the foundation as their roots grow.
