"C&C tree service did an awesome job trimming and removing trees that were in danger of hitting my house in the power lines. They were very professional had all the needed equipment and know how to get the job done. I have used other tree service in the past and can honestly say C&C tree service is far better. I would highly recommend them for anybody needing tree work done. Craig and his team went above and beyond to get the job done. They also did a great job of cleaning up the job site. When I need tree work in the future they will be my number 1 choice."

Small jobs welcome

"I hired Precision Tree Solutions to remove a huge Bradford Pear tree from my front yard. The tree had large branches over the house and over the driveway. Jacob replied quickly and provided me with a fair estimate. Jacob and his team arrived on time and got straight to work. They smoothly and quickly removed the tree and the stump. When I saw how much work was involved; I realized what a good price I was charged. Thank you to Jacob and the Precision Tree Solutions crew!"

He showed up exactly when he said he would, which is hard to find these days.Bobby went above and beyond the basic job requirements. He was incredibly conscientious about my property, taking extra care not to leave a mess and ensuring everything looked spotless before he left. His professionalism, communication, and work ethic are top-notch. I will absolutely use his services again!""

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

The best way is to start controlling tree height long before it grows too large, via careful pruning through the years. But that’s not always possible. If a tree has become too high or too large, use selective pruning to remove the most troublesome branches, one by one, without topping the tree. Gently shaping a tree like this can, over time, correct problems. You can also find growth inhibitors to spray on a tree to stop it from growing too rapidly, but use these sparingly if at all.

The best time to trim trees is in late fall through winter when the tree has slowed its growing for the year. Cold weather stops insects and fungal growth from attacking a new tree wound. Summer and fall are considered the worst times to trim trees, but it’s permissible in certain scenarios, such as tree disease, damaged branches, or small, aesthetic cuts.

If the roots are still alive, the dead tree will usually try to put out new shoots. That doesn’t mean the tree will survive or that the dead parts of a tree will come back to life. If parts of the tree have died and turned gray or rotten, nothing will bring them back to life and they need to be safely removed.

Aside from removing dead or diseased branches, you should prune your trees somewhere between every one and three years. Some people—particularly commercial farmers—prune their apple trees yearly to produce higher yields. This is the best way to promote tree health. That said, the average homeowner can get away with hard-pruning their mature apple tree every other year or every three years.

A tree branch should start to form roots in about three months. It can take about a year for a tree branch to develop roots strong enough to go in the ground. For best results, start several branches because, no matter how closely you follow instructions, they won’t all form roots. Compost any that aren’t thriving.
