I started Custom Finishes in 1991 after working for a large contractor and learning the trade of wallpaper installation. I have worked with designers from New York, Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Los Angeles as well as several locally. Do to my reputation for great customer service I was asked to install window treatments for a big box store. Over the years the number of store has grown. This lead to Graber approaching me to become a certified installer of their products.

Limitless Walls prints and sells affordable, custom, removable, repositionable wall murals and wallpaper. We have three different types of materials we use for our wall murals and wallpaper. These materials include paper, fabric and canvas. Each material has a different look and feel. Our wall murals and wallpaper are adhesive backed so no paste is required! This adhesive is specially made for walls so that it will not damage the walls or paint on the walls during instillation or removal. You can also remove and install the murals/wallpaper as many times as you need without damaging the adhesive or the walls. All of our products are made right here in the U.S.A. We recognize that traditional wallpaper is difficult to hang and remove. Here at Limitless Walls we strive to make decorating your walls easy and cost effective. Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Hanging wallpaper may seem simple, but in practice it requires significant planning and finesse to make it look professional. To start, you need to get an even application of wallpaper paste across all of your wallpaper, which requires experience and large pasting tables to get right. You also need to plan out your design and match it exactly so that you don’t have imperfections in the finished product. It’s often better to hire a professional wallpaper hanger who can get the job done properly for a clean, smooth finish.

Painting over wallpaper is an efficient way to cover it if it’s in decent shape. Before painting over wallpaper, make sure the surface is clean and smooth. You may have to remove minor problem areas, such as lifted seams or small peels, with a sheetrock knife or putty knife. Add a latex- or oil-based primer to keep moisture at bay before painting. You’ll likely need two coats of paint to cover the area.

Common mistakes when finishing basement walls include neglecting proper insulation, insufficient moisture management, and poor ventilation. Not addressing these issues can lead to mold growth, water damage, and discomfort. Additionally, inadequate planning, improper framing, and rushing the project can result in subpar outcomes.

It's essential to follow best practices, seek professional guidance if needed, and prioritize thoroughness and attention to detail.

Having dated, peeling, or otherwise damaged wallpaper can decrease the value of your property, so removing that before listing your house is nearly always a good idea; however, since wallpaper tends to be a personal style choice, potential buyers may or may not love your aesthetic as much as you do.

Love the look of wallpaper but want to consider property value as well? Stick with something that is easy to change. If you are thinking of selling soon, make sure your wallpaper hanging is on-point and looks professional with no crooked seams, evenly matched patterns, and minimal bubbling or other imperfections.

Your peel-and-stick wallpaper can fall off for multiple reasons, including high humidity levels, extreme temperature changes, poor installation, and even the wall surface. Textured walls can prevent the adhesive from fully sticking to the wall, making it more likely for the wallpaper to peel off. Low-quality wallpapers with weaker adhesives are also more likely to fall off prematurely.
