"Robby was great to work with from start to finish. He installed a television mount above a stone fireplace and supplied an appropriate mount for the tv. He was able to drill through the natural stone to attach the mount to the studs. It turned out absolutely perfectly and he showed me how to make any future adjustments that might be needed. He helped us with locating the best positioning as well. He was obviously experienced and had no problem handling what seemed to be tricky installation. He kept in touch by phone and text, arrived right on time, came here within days of initial contact, cleaned up, and charged exactly what he quoted which was very reasonable. Genuinely nice guy and highly recommend him."
"Had some tvs mounted and a mirror hung. Jason showed up on time, was very courteous, and got the job done quickly. The price was what we agreed on and his rates are very reasonable. Especially for the quality and speed of the work. Thanks!"
"Great job! Carlos and his team were excellent at installing my front door. It wasn’t an easy task, it was a single door, installed a double door. Also installed two outside lights. Great job! Will hire them again!"
I have been involved in construction for over 20 years. I worked for a remodeling contractor in California in 1999 and a laborer/estimator for a design-build firm in Baton Rouge where I received my Bachelor of Science, Construction Management at LSU in 2003. I worked for a trucking company where I was the estimator and project manager for civil and marine projects. In 2005, I received my general contractors license while living on the coast in Mississippi. This where I formed a remodeling company, New Coast Construction Co. My family and I moved to North Carolina in 2006 where I have since worked for grading and paving companies undertaking estimating and project management. In August of 2019, I formed RAM Constructors, LLC. RAM Constructors is Licensed and Insured.
"Mr Clark replaced the door frame wood and molding for my single car garage. He, also, installed a full-width drain in the concrete entry to my garage. He arrived on time, was courteous, and did very good work. The drain works very well during heavy rains. I, also, hired him to replace the wood on my deck and attached stairway. He did good work and I particularly like the railing design. My only disappointment was the over-reliance on nails instead of using bolts or screw fasteners (particularly on the railing). I would definitely use him again."
"I contacted Cransten Handyman and Remodeling. They suggested Matt, He did an excellent job mounting my TV above my fireplace. He even cleaned up behind themselves! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have a TV installed!"
"M&D Property Solutions did a great job at installing a Radon mitigation system for us. Braden was awesome to work with! All done in one day and completely satisfied with it. I would definitely recommend!"
"St. Michael Handyman installed 3/4" tongue and groove, pre-finished oak flooring throughout our house. In the process he discovered some rotten underlayment in a bathroom and replaced it. Installing the oak flooring on our stairs was especially difficult and presented a number of challenges, but he successfully navigated them all and we are very pleased with the results."
"Installed microwave above the stove.Efficient work, focused on the details and did not waste any time. Also took care of couple of smaller items while he was here."
Determining if mounting a TV on the wall or mounting it on a stand is better boils down to personal preference. TV mounts are an excellent choice for homes that have limited space, unruly dogs, or young children. They also allow you to customize the height and viewing angle more easily. At the same time, mounting a TV on an entertainment center stand offers additional storage space, a place to hide the wires, and fewer holes in the wall. Renters may also have limitations on drilling holes into the wall above certain diameters.

There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.
