"The OBSOLUTE WORST POOL COMPANY IN THE AREA!!!! We started our process with him in March 17 2024 and gave a substantial payment to start shortly after that. On May 29th the pool finally arrive at the house and was in the ground. That's when it all went to HELL. Did not let us know to get the corps of engineers over to reevaluate our sqft. footprint so we could use concrete as what was quoted. So we ended up having to use permeable pavers which cost an extra $15k. Never came back to install railing, I had to get that done myself. So that got done by Mid July finally. Now starts the worst part. Landscaping was also included with sod, dirt fill, firepit and enclosed shower all back to original. In August we still have no landscaping stated so we have had this backyard torn up since May. All supposed to be done in 4-6 weeks mind you. So finally he agreed to allow our landscapers Escobar Landscaping finish the project and he would pay them. He paid for the materials and would pay the labor"

"thanks to this site, I called Greater Wilm. Structure about a brick house I was buying that had cracked brick and unlevel floors. I assumed I would only (!) need to have that section of the home jacked up and the foundation repaired. Brian returned my call quickly, and met me and my realtor at the house (was a 45 min. drive for him) to give me his opinion and verbal price quote. Many contractors/carpenters would have just focused on the project and the money involved, but Brian wanted to see WHY the house had sunk. He pointed out the major structure issues with the tresses in the attic, joists, as well as other red flags, that would cause problems later. He's a master carpenter and his knowledge, experience (and sense of humor!) was refreshing and valuable. After meeting with him I decided to pull my accepted offer on the home and feel I have saved myself untold amounts of money, stress and frustration. I will definately be hiring this company in the future."

"It was carefully thought out and had to be completely taken down to the original pipes and plumbing in a bathroom 65 years old. The bathroom did not meet requirements or even the parts required now, so everything had to be measured and fitted with updated materials. Added to that, the house was not grounded electrically. All new breakers had to be installed with GFI connections. A window in the shower wall was removed, and the wall and vinyl siding removed and replaced. Insulation was installed in the attic, with new light fixtures, fan, and heater in the ceiling of the shower/tub. All of the very old ceramic tile had to be removed from very old flooring, and old crumbling wall tiles throughout the bathroom. The bathroom was originally 2 small rooms with 2 sinks and 2 toilets. It’s now a whole nice-size bathroom, with one toilet, a double sink, a linen closet, and storage space. The walls between had to be removed, and 4 doors removed. This was a huge time-consuming job, and Mr McGilliad did every step, communicating with me to ensure that I approved of changes made. My new bathroom is beautiful. I would love to have him back when I need anything done with care and experience and kindness again!"
