We proudly service central North Carolina. At Stone Image Works we use our own crews for all installations. Therefore, we warrant all workmanship of the interlocking paving stone installation as long as the original purchaser lives in the home. Our projects receive direct supervision from the Owner/Operator and with the combination of top quality materials and direct supervision we are confident our customers are 100% satisfied. We will be happy to provide you a list of references so you may personally see our true professionalism and quality. *Advantages of Paving Stone Driveways, Patios, Pool Decks and Walkways Paving stones define beauty, elegance and durability for driveways, pool decks, walkways and patios. A properly installed paving stone driveway won't crack, sag, shift or separate. It will look fantastic for generations, and if it ever becomes stained or marred by paint or oil it can be repaired quickly, easily and invisibly. Individual stones can be replaced with matching ones so that the surface looks exactly as it did before the accident occurred. This is impossible with any other type of pavement. The huge range of colors and patterns available makes customized design possible for any type of courtyard, patio, deck, or driveway. We will work with you to create the perfect match for your project, whether it is patio pavers for your deck or a complete landscape design to complement your new paving stone driveway and walkways.

Anything from painting to roofing to complete remodels to building additions or anything

"Jeff Mclawhorn did construction to my business without getting the correct permits. Luckily, it ended up working out in my favor. When I had him do lighting work for me, he took the money and never completed the work. He disappeared for months, swore to send me a check for reimbursement for the work that was paid for and then disappeared. He never provided written quotes or receipts for work, and requested payment be made in cash. Avoid at all costs."

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Yes—lawn renovation can turn your lawn from damaged to healthy in one month or less. You should also consider lawn renovation an investment in your home’s future. Not only will a lawn renovation ensure that you have a beautiful, healthy, and thriving lawn, but when it comes time to sell your home, the curb appeal will increase your home’s value.

Almost all lawns can benefit from aeration, but not all lawns need aeration services. If your lawn has puddles of standing water, uneven grass growth, thinning grass, dries out quickly, or has a good amount of thatch, aeration is worthwhile. On the other hand, if your lawn is healthy and your soil isn’t too compact, you may be able to skip a year of aeration.

Yes, you should water the lawn after aerating. Now that you’ve loosened up the soil to better receive nutrients, it’s time to hydrate and fertilize your lawn. You’ll want to keep it evenly moist to promote healthy growth. Don’t drown your grass—too much of a good thing can reverse all the work you’ve done with aeration in the first place. But especially if you’ve overseeded and/or fertilized after aeration, you’ll want to ensure a moist soil layer to absorb those nutrients and fuel for new growth.

Moss growing in a lawn is a sign of poor soil that makes it hard for grass and plants to grow. Moss thrives in these conditions and spreads easily, so it can quickly take over your yard if it’s lacking in nutrients, too wet, or has an excessive amount of shade. Moss in the lawn isn’t always a bad thing, but it can prevent turfgrass from forming deep roots.

The screwdriver test involves trying to push a screwdriver into your lawn. If it goes in easily, you’re likely overwatering and should cut back. If there’s moderate resistance, you have a good watering schedule and soil composition. If there’s a lot of resistance or you can’t get the screwdriver into the soil, you may need to aerate your lawn to reduce compaction and increase your watering schedule.
