We recently purchased a 2nd home on Lake James with an exterior that is 100% cedar.  The exterior was in serious need of cleaning and re-staining.  It had not been maintained; and, had a significant amount of mold staining and several areas of the trim had the original finish peeling off.

We contracted with Mike and Crystal to prep and re-stain the exterior of our home.  Throughout the process, Mike demonstrated thoroughness, competency and responsibility.  Mike and Crystal took personal responsibility to ensure they delivered a quality product.  Mike kept his commitments and did not compromise his work product even when faced with the stripping process taking more time than he expected.  He completed the project per the schedule he committed.

Mike demonstrated a high attention to detail in the finishing process and ensured the project was completed to my satisfaction.  The home looks beautiful...we could not be happier.

I solicited bids from several paint contractors and evaluated several before selecting Mike.  His pricing was very competitive versus several other contractors; but, I never observed where Mike cut corners.

I would definitely recommend MIke's Painting and will plan to use Mike again when we have painting needs.

"After contracting with Smith's Quality painting to pressure wash my house. There was no delay in providing me with an estimate and a date for the work to be completed. On June 14, 2017, Mr Smith arrived on time and began to pressure wash my house. I had several questions about the material being used and he answered all my inquiries to my satisfaction. "First things first Allen farmer is a man of his word. If he says he will do something it is done and done with high quality. I scheduled my vacation around some work that was needed to my home as he rescheduled his schedule to accomidate me. His crew was top notch and I was very impressed with their professionalism down to his laborers.
They came in and stripped my roof down to the plywood and put on the exact products and brands I asked for. They were hit with some unplanned bad weather and put every member of his team to work to cover my roof so that we didn't get any water in the house in which I was amazed. The next day they were their first thing to make sure they finished the roof.
They then began work on my deck that was built not so great by a different contractor and made it more stable and added some vinyl soffit and wrapped the sides with metal. I was so happy with the finished product.
Then they tore out our old bay window and added us a 6ft sliding glass door which is so beautiful. They cleaned up all the trash, nails, scraps and left the yard looking as when they arrived.
After Mr. Farmer was paid in full he overheard me talking about some repairs that my dad needed on his roof and stopped by there and fixed him up at no charge because he is retired and doesnt have spare money for repairs which completely made our day.
I would highly recommed anyone who needs any work done please call Mr. Farmer and he will bring your dreams to life and give you what you need stress free.
