Roy's workers completed a deck replacement with the addition of a porch roof at our home in 2016. The overall look of the job is beautiful, but all three sets of steps on the deck have rotten stair stringers. There is also some blocking at the end of several deck boards which has rotted , causing the decking to pull away from the framing. I called Roy a year ago and told him of the issues. He stated that he would look into it, but I never heard back from him.

Roy is the owner and very honest and does what he says he will do. Don is one of his installers and is very experienced in window installation as well as any other outside home repair. He is meticulous, detail oriented, and takes great pride in his work. They sell and install Vitex Fortis windows which are state of the art, smooth operating, reversible allowing cleaning both sides from the inside, plus full flexible screens you can see through and barely notice they are there. All this with low overhead and very competitive prices. The windows are non-wood and have a transferable lifetime warranty. Was I impressed with these guys and their windows and other services? Roy and his crew did an entire makeover on my home. New siding and windows, new front door, added a sliding patio door and added an additional window in my kitchen. To say Roy did a great job is an understatement...He was professional, knew his business WELL, kept me informed every step of the way throughout the renovation. I was out of town when he started my reno and he kept in touch daily including sending me pictures of the progress. When there was additional work to be done, In my case rotted wood discovered during install, Roy called me he explained clearly why and what had to be done and the additional charges to do the job right were very reasonable. Roy and his team don't take any shortcuts or cover up any problems. They repaired my rotten wood issues before installing the siding and windows and the results are fantastic. Don't waste your time with another company, the old saying you get what you pay for always rings true. Roy and his crew did a great job for a very fair price, He came highly recommended to me and I am I glad I contracted with him. I hire Roy Faulkenberry of Coastal Exteriors to replace all of my windows and what a great job he did. He was honest, answered all my questions and concerns, and installed windows as soon as they came in and worked non-stop to get them in. He and his workers did a very professional job, my windows are great and he even addressed a few other issues at my house at that time. I highly recommend Coastal Exteriors and I am getting ready to hire this company again to replace my front door. It’s nice to meet and hire someone who is hardworking and is genuinely doing the best job possible for the client. I highly recommend this company!

Roy Faulkenberry and Coastal Exteriors were extremely helpful throughout the process of purchasing and installing new windows. The windows are high quality. Roy's crew was professional and efficient. Our windows were installed almost immediately after delivery.

The owner and team provided me daily updates as well as pictures throughout the day while I was at work. He was having some transportation issues but kept be informed as to progress and expected timelines.

Revised April 15, 2020: Communication ultimately improved. There were legitimate reasons for the poor communication. The owner apology was accepted. Work was not completed until recently because there was not previously a large enough predicted window of good weather during which to complete the project. Once on the job, the employees were EXCELLENT. Their workmanship was skilled and detailed. They were courteous and maintained a clean work environment. The aluminum trim metal was fabricated on site. It exactly fits under the drip edge of the already installed metal roof and folds around the fascia to help support the soffit. They also covered porch beams by fitting the aluminum under the vinyl siding. They removed and replaced the capitals on porch posts as necessary to obtain exact fits there. A lift was required to reach some areas. They were very cautious and protective of the driveway and yard where it needed to be placed, I highly recommend the actual work completed and the customer service / communication form the owner has improved.

I was very happy with my new window. They provided me with great information on questions I asked and did not ask. My windows were done very quickly and the took care of all the mess. The guys were very sweet. I am having them do my deck in the spring. I am looking forward to doing business with them again.

Now this company is the best of the best. My first call after hurricane Florence was to Costal Exteriors as recommended by Home Advisor. I will never look any place else for my home repairs or needs. These folks were top notch from start to finish. They did the most professional job at replacing my roof. I was totally blown away at how fast these guys worked. and when they were done (the same day) you would have never known they just tore the whole roof off and replaced it. Plants and flowerbeds untouched, yard totally clean. and I have an amazing looking roof.

Coastal Exterior is an AMAZING company. Roy the owner in very personable and always willing to answer all questions no matter how small. Jesse and Bo did an EXCELLENT job on the siding and trim work. The deck crew also did an outstanding job. We are very satisfied with the quality of work, cleanliness of the workers, and the overall attitude of the company. I would recommend them to EVERYONE I know.

Took the time to analyze the attic ventilation and advised on remedies to improve. Workers were efficient and courteous. Completed the job in one day with a crew of 12. Adding this two months after installation: We found a leak during the hurricane and found one area not properly installed. Roy was very concerned and had his crew come out right away and correct the situation. I would hire him again. I would hire them again.

After this project Coastal Exteriors will be the only company we'll consider. They did a fantastic job.

Good communication as the project was going along (thanks, Robby). Easy to work with, even with my work schedule. Loved being able to look at simulations of the finished product to decide what style to select for what windows. When there were any issues or questions, Roy was very responsive and good to work with, as was Robby.

No pressure, They contacted me estimates, completed work timely and no mess.
