Ryan and Alex were so reassuring of all our fears and concerns, we knew we were in good hands. Alex and Jose were so polite and talk about hard working!! All three of them went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations, saving some landscaping we didn't expect to be saved. They took great care with our landscaping and yard and did not cause any unexpected damage to any of it! They did a great job with the clean-up at the end of the job as well. These three men worked great together as a team. We were happy to see them everyday and a little sad when we said good bye."

Better Built Decks is a Montana based business. Started business in Fort Collins Colorado, however originally from here in Montana. I, Nathen Wolf as main operator, started working at 14 years old as an employee of Joe Webber from Everett Washington. Joe was a very talented and brilliant builder, Joe obtained an engineering degree and shared with me thru the years a ton of his knowledge such as building techniques, the structure of wood joints, properties of expansion, etc. We started off leveling and supporting structures such as houses, old buildings, and garages. then literally gutting everything such as wiring, plumbing, the whole interior and exterior getting ready for a complete rebuild. I was very fortunate to work with Joe, this experience has provided me the knowledge to install structures that could practically stand a lifetime or longer. Most projects are started and completed by me in a timely manner. If needed, I will normally hire very honest and skilled exempt contractors and sometime some highly recommended temp workers. No Job is too big, or too small.

"We are one of a handful of new construction purchases (within the last year). During the build process, they were great to work with. Once we closed, all that changed. We have to run space heaters during the winter months (a brand new home) due to the design of the ductwork and Sussex wouldn't lift a finger, we have flooding at the entrance to our property, and once again, Sussex did nothing. We had fixtures in the wrong place, and some were not what we ordered at all, and guess what? they did nothing!!.. As we began to speak with others in the community, we learned of a horrible reputation throughout Helena, as well as, a horrible place to be employed. All in all, stay away from Suxxit construction at all costs. Money is their motivation, not happy families"

Wait at least seven days before driving on your driveway and two days before walking on it. Your contractor may require additional time if you need to level the ground, install a drainage system, or order special concrete materials. In many cases, you will need a building permit for your patio, but it depends on the type of patio. Generally speaking, any improvements to your land considered “permanent” will require a permit. Since a concrete patio is a permanent foundation, you will need a permit. On the other hand, a paver patio or flagstone patio usually sits over gravel and sand, are considered “temporary” improvements, and rarely require permits.
