"Jennifer with DeBella's was super awesome and helpful!! We love our siding! When it dropped to well below 0 for weeks, no problems! And lower heating bills than years before! In the summer, the house stayed cooler aswell with the new siding. Couldn't be happier!!"

"I had a water leak underneath an elevated shower pan, where a pipe had come loose and water started coming thru the adjacent walls. As an absentee landlord who wasn't around to be able to deal with it, Bridger Creek Plumbing (Tobin) was a good choice! Trustworthy, reliable, I would def recommend, and would hire again"

"It was a big project involving most of the house. Answers construction, owner Tito and his employees were very hard working and detail oriented. They were there to work on time. Very easy to work with and patient with many changes. Tito wanted to be sure we were happy with every detail. We love the renovation and have received many great compliments. Highly recommend Answers Construction."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

Resurfacing a bathtub is less expensive than replacing one. Resurfacing a tub costs about $330 to $630, depending on the material, while replacing a tub costs an average of $4,150. But remember that resurfacing is a temporary solution for a worn-out tub, and you may need to refinish a tub every few years to keep it looking new.

Labor is the most expensive part of a bathroom remodel. If you’re doing a major remodel, structural changes (such as moving walls) and plumbing reconfiguration can be costly. For a standard remodel, the big-ticket items include tiles and new tub or shower fixtures.

The plumbing industry has standardized the sizes for bathtub drains. They are 1 1/2 inches wide to fit all standard bathtubs from 14 to 26 inches deep. The standard sizing is to ensure that the drain fits into the P trap, a special part of your piping that prevents sewer water from bubbling up into your home (yuck).

Start by gutting the old fixtures and features that need to be removed, such as the tile, vanity, and flooring. You may benefit by removing the toilet, even if you intend to use the same one. Next, install the new shower or tub, followed by the flooring, and then the drywall, which you should then paint. After that, install your new cabinets, vanity, countertop, sink, and faucet, in that order. Replace your light fixture next. Lastly, reconnect the toilet.

Yes. Common materials for Roman tubs are acrylic, fiberglass, cast iron, and stone resin. The choice you make can depend on various factors, including weight, cost, durability, style, heat retention, and aesthetics. Ultimately, it really depends on your space to determine the best option.
