"Chad and Scott did a fantastic job, from concept to completion of our project. We needed an interior wall, framing, door, drywall, texture, & painting, & all the details to enclose our kitchen from our entry. They understood our concept, and had the work done from start to finish in 2 weeks. Meticulous, detail-oriented, polite, & fun to have them here in our home are how we would describe our relationship with Chad & Scott. They even let us keep adding other small projects along with the wall construction, always being cheerful & accommodating. We would definitely recommend them to our friends & neighbors for any projects! Susan & Larry"

"We recently completed a major home remodel with Craft Builders, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Their team was professional, communicative, and detail-oriented throughout the entire process. They stayed on schedule, respected our home, and delivered craftsmanship that exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Craft Builders to anyone considering a remodel."

"I give Lundgren Homes a great review. Chayse was able to mount two televisions and provide professional opinions on other questions asked. He even fixed my bathtub stopper with no expense. Very professional outfit!"

A functional sink was installed that did not come out into the doorway. A custom cabinet needed to be built for the plumbing.

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

The most common scale for residential blueprints is 1/4 of an inch equals one foot. This scale is the most popular because it’s easier for everyone involved, from professionals to homeowners, to understand the building’s actual dimensions. Also, it allows blueprints to have the necessary details without cluttering the page.

Blueprints are generally available for houses built after the early 1900s. Before then, detailed building schematics like blueprints were rarely used and even more rarely saved. If you have an older house and need blueprints, you can have a new set drawn up by an architect or draftsperson.

Costs vary depending on project complexity and scope. Architects generally charge a percentage of the total budget or an hourly rate for their services.

Yes, professionals offer design services that ensure cohesive appearances.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.
