"I need to revise a previous review. Jim did do excellent work. His cuts were absolutely plumb, straight and horizontal. Previously I made a statement regarding the precision of his cuts and that was only due to one cut extending outside of the area necessary to install the window. I previously stated that I would not use Jim again, which is misleading. I merely meant that, being fairly handy myself, I would feel confident enough to do the same job myself in the future after having seen how it is done. As far as the quality of workmanship, I have no significant reason for criticism. The final product is excellent, complies with code, and provides much better lighting for our future basement bedrooms than what was there before."

Surfaces like parking lots and driveways should be at least 6 inches thick to accommodate the weight of vehicles, while patios and walkways may be poured between 4 and 6 inches thick. You'll find a slurry of natural and synthetic polymers, rubbers, epoxies, and resins used to bond old concrete to new concrete. The right bonding agent depends on the method of concrete pouring you choose and whether you're adhering concrete over concrete or concrete over sand and gravel. Some concrete resurfacing mixtures contain bonding chemicals as well.
