"It was great, the pool technician was very helpful and kept us updated on what repairs were needed. He followed up after his visit to ensure we knew the next steps. 10/10 would have this technician again."

"He is the first person to have responded when I reached out to businesses and people for help. He came on Easter Sunday, and he cleaned my yard. He did an amazing job. He is the first person that I hired and paid that actually came and did the job. He did it a couple days and has offered to help me with so many other tasks. At first I wasn't sure if I would need the help as much, I thought maybe hire him for one time, but he deserves the pay, the review for all of his hardwork and generosity. Now I plan to hire him more and pay him for his work. Try him, you won't regret it. I am so happy I found him for his help. Before this experience I never asked for help and am a very independent person. It is hard for me to ask for help. I put my trust in him, and anyone else should, too."

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

Follow these general safety tips for spas and hot tubs:

  • Keep your exterior electrical receptacles covered and dry, especially around your hot tub and pool during periods of use.

  • Make sure you have a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) properly installed to ensure no one gets accidentally shocked or injured by electrocution.

  • Don’t use the hot tub or your pool during a thunderstorm.

  • Before using the hot tub, have a certified electrician thoroughly inspect your hot tub and its wiring to make sure you’re in full compliance with all applicable local building codes.

Hot tubs don’t necessarily add value to a home—but they don’t take it away either. It depends on the potential buyer. A well-landscaped in-ground hot tub is attractive to buyers who prioritize relaxation and fun. Others would rather not deal with the maintenance.

Similar to a hot tub, swim spas last anywhere from five to 20 years, depending on quality and your attention to maintenance. The best way to increase the lifespan of your swim spa is to carefully maintain it—including draining it around every six months to deep clean the parts.

In most cases, it is safe to clean a hot tub with vinegar. You will want to verify that your hot tub manufacturer lists vinegar as a safe cleaning product; however, given that vinegar is chemical-free, cleans, deodorizes, and is safe for people and pets, it is usually a good option. You can use vinegar to clean the hot tub shell, interior and exterior spa surfaces, hot tub jets, hot tub filter, and other parts. It is considered a strong, safe, and natural cleanser that can kill bacteria, remove mold and mildew spores, erase water spots, and remove hard water stains.

Regular water testing, filter cleaning, and chemical balancing are essential for keeping water clean and equipment functional.
