"He put in two bathroom vent fans after we had the ceiling repaired from steam damage. He was neat and we appreciated his expertise. Also upgraded wiring in shed and added a plug in. He responded quickly to our request and showed up when we expected him to. Will hire him again."

"The job went very well. He reviewed my issued and went straight to work. Mr. Cooper was very professional, polite and knew his stuff. I am remodeling my bathroom and needed an easy shutoff valve. The other contractor I am using didn't know anything about plumbing and we both agreed to get professional. A new vanity was going to be installed. After Mr. Cooper left I had to call him back and he came right back. Will use him again and again. I have plans to hire him within the next month.. Great guy.."

"It went really well. The technicians gave me an excellent overview of what needed to be done so that we could work w/permitting, as inspectors, and our local electric company. In short they were knowledgeable, considerate, and really easy to work with."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, dust and pollen on a fan can trigger allergy attacks in many people. Additionally, fan blades can hold onto potentially dangerous bacteria particles before they die out. That’s why it’s important to keep all of the fans in your home clean and dust-free, which will help avoid any sickness or allergy flare-ups.

Ceiling fans are very often worth the investment because they improve comfort in your living space and help reduce utility bills. In the late spring and early fall—and even in the summer in some areas—homeowners with ceiling fans can often get away with open windows and fans, which can cut down on cooling bills and also reduce wear and tear on the HVAC system. Over time, ceiling fans can pay for themselves by saving you money on electric bills and air conditioner repair and maintenance.

Before committing to this new project, you’re likely weighing the pros and cons of attic fans. The good news is that typical roof vents can only ventilate 150 to 300 square feet per unit, whereas a single attic fan can circulate enough air to vent an entire attic. By moving large volumes of air within and out of the attic space, an attic fan can lower the temperature by 15 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and reduce moisture to prevent mold and mildew.

Solar attic fans work in winter, but they serve a different purpose than they do in summer. During the colder months of the year, these fans improve air circulation within your attic, which helps remove condensation and moisture to prevent mold growth and protect your insulation and the structure of your home.

While ceiling fans are built for regular use, running them continuously without breaks can lead to overheating and wear over time. If your fan has a thermal shutoff feature, it may stop running to protect the motor. To extend their lifespan, it’s best to turn fans off when they’re not needed.
