"Grant did an amazing job painting our house! They were professional, punctual, and paid great attention to detail. The walls look flawless, and they kept everything clean throughout the process. Plus, Grant was friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend them for any painting project. Five stars!"

"Prompt service and very professional. Did a fantastic job fixing our LVP flooring and even cleaned the floor after he finished. I will actually hire him again to build shelving for a large pantry very soon. He can do it all and very good at keeping his word and also very affordable, so much more than anyone else we had look at the job. We thank him"

"I am so impressed with these guys! They came out on a Friday to give me a quote and by Saturday I had five trees, threes shrubs removed, new sod laid down and a brand new garden bed. They are also sending someone out to clean the leaves and gutters tomorrow. AND they pointed out some serious issues with my roof that I had not noticed before. Worth every penny!"

"Luke was amazing. He gave us a quick quote that was reasonable. He started and worked when he said he would. He kept us updated and sent pictures afterward. The quality of his work was excellent. I was so pleased with his work. He went above and beyond by doing a couple extra things for us as we were out of state. I would and will recommend him to anyone looking for a professional quality painter!"

"Devin and his crew were OUTSTANDING!!!! They arrived on time, did a great job power washing our home and fence and will be utilized in the future. They also provided a fair price for the work. He even called to reschedule the work for the next day due to bad weather. Future jobs would include electrical, painting, handy man services and siding. I would RECOMMEND DDC Cleaning Services, they are Insured Licensed and Bonded!!!!!"

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes. Freestanding or floating decks are exactly what the name implies—structures with their own support beams. You can build a deck yourself and place it next to a house for the illusion of a connected deck without the hassle. Or you can construct it in a separate part of your yard for a dedicated outdoor entertainment space. For the purpose of removing a freestanding deck, the steps are the same as an attached deck, but you don’t have to cut the deck away from the home.

Your deck may look or feel fuzzy after pressure washing because the high-pressure spray tears some wood fibers as it removes the outer layer of dead and discolored wood. This fuzzy effect is a normal part of the pressure-washing process and will go away on its own in a few weeks. You can opt to spot-sand your deck if you’d like to remove it more quickly.

Covering your deck with a breathable tarp can protect it from snow, ice, and cold winter temperatures. This is a good winterizing solution if you don’t plan to use your deck at all during the colder months. However, it might be best to skip the tarp if you’ll still be walking on your deck or using it in a limited capacity.

DIY staining or painting is manageable with proper preparation, including safety measures, necessary tools, and adherence to safe weather conditions for application.

Yes, an elevated deck can increase a home's resale value. Homeowners can expect a 65% return on investment from the cost of a second-story deck installation. For example, if you spend $5,000 to install a second-story deck, that deck will add $3,250 to the value of your home.
