"I usually don’t write many recommendations, but I wanted to tell you about my recent experience working with Mr. Terry Cox of Precision Painting Company. The first job that Mr. Cox and his crew did for me was to cut down eight trees in my backyard. I don’t have a very large yard to begin with and with so many trees, it made my yard look even smaller and didn’t allow very much sunlight to get through. This made it very difficult to get grass to grow in my backyard. It took about two days for the crew to get all the trees cut down and cut up. They hauled off all the logs and limbs and then brought in a grinder to get rid of the stumps. After that, they did an excellent job cleaning up the area once they were done. I was very happy with the work that Mr. Cox and his crew did. A couple of weeks later I called Mr. Cox again to get an estimate for building a wooden fence around my backyard. I had an old wooden fence that I built myself about 30 years ago and it was in very bad shape. The next afternoon Mr. Cox and one of his crew came by to measure the yard and give me an estimate to build the new fence. It was a six-foot fence with one double gate and two single gates. The estimate was very reasonable and so they started the very next day. It only took them a couple of days to set the posts in concrete and start putting up the fence. His crew was very professional and hard-working. One of the main things that I noticed about their work was there attention to detail. They made sure that the tops of each board of the fence were level with each other in both directions. The fence looks great and I’m extremely happy with the results. At the same time his crew was working on the fence I also had them to redo half of the flower bed in my front yard and to build a brick mailbox. I had wanted a brick mailbox built for many years but just did not know who to talk to about it. I’m very pleased with the job they did on the mailbox and the brickwork around the flower bed. I’ve had many compliments from my neighbors on the work they did. Just recently, I called Mr. Cox back for the third time to do the other side of the flower bed with a brick enclosure and to pour a new concrete sidewalk. My old sidewalk was cracked in several places after being torn up a few years ago when I had the water and sewer lines repaired because of damage caused by the roots of a large tree in my front yard. My entire front yard had to be dug up by a repair crew with a backhoe and they left a real mess. Not only did they bust up a large section of my sidewalk, but they did not bother to smooth out my yard after covering the trench back up. I attempted to repair the sidewalk myself without much success. Mr. Cox’ crew removed the old sidewalk and poured a new one for me. They did a nice job on the flower beds and sidewalk.
