"Mr. Allen is pleasant, patient and professional. He carefully explains the tasks he will undertake to get the job done. He offered many options for the rocks I wanted, and sent photos so that I could choose the type, color, and size of rock to put in my backyard to check the erosion problem there."

"Juan and Nic are fast, reliable and they will do exactly as you ask. We got them to "flip" a Driver Ed trailer into a camp b/c I saw on their card that they remodel, the trailer was an empty shell. They fixed some rotting floors, installed flooring, erected walls, ran wire, cut holes and installed widows (there were no windows), built window casings, door facings, installed doors, applied sealant to the roof and hung cypress. They are VERY good and FAST!"

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can typically combine liquid aeration with other lawn treatments. However, follow the specific product's instructions and consider the compatibility of treatments. In most cases, liquid aeration can complement fertilization, overseeding, or weed control programs. Combining treatments strategically can address multiple aspects of your lawn's health and appearance simultaneously. Always read and adhere to the guidelines provided by the product manufacturers to ensure safe and effective application.

Mowing is one of the most important ways to maintain your lawn because it encourages grass to grow horizontally, creating a fuller, more uniform yard. On top of mowing your lawn, you’ll want to routinely fertilize your lawn, water it regularly, and take care of pests the moment they arise.

Sealing pavers helps cut down on weed growth, but it won’t wipe it out entirely. What it does really well is harden the joint sand—especially if you’re using a sealant with polymer additives—so weeds have a much harder time breaking through. It also blocks airborne seeds from settling in the cracks and keeps debris from building up. This results in fewer weeds, easier maintenance, and a cleaner-looking surface. Just remember, sealing is a strong defense—not a one-and-done solution. Stay on top of sweeping, spot-treating, and resealing every few years to keep your weeds in check.

The best time to hire a weed service company is in the early spring. This allows them to apply a pre-emergent weed killer that stops weeds from taking root, making maintenance for the rest of the season much easier. Following the initial spring application, a monthly service through the summer and early fall is a good idea for ongoing weed control. These regular treatments, combined with manual removal or spot treatment, should be sufficient to maintain a weed-free yard. Alternatively, you can hire a professional in the fall for the following year, as some companies may offer better rates on contracts signed before the busy spring season.

Weeds may grow back when pulled out if the root is not completely removed. Invasive weeds can regrow from just a small portion of remaining root, so using a weed-pulling tool can help ensure you remove the entire root. Weeds may grow back faster if roots aren’t fully removed, and incomplete removal could cause them to spread as well.
