Building on a family commitment to excellence, Mick Anderson founded Anderson Enterprises, LLC in 2006. Mick and his sister, Lisa Davis have literally learned this business from the ground up and have become experts in the steel building and portable building business.

"What we got? The ends had blocks going every which way. They were double stacked, but not correctly. They single stacked everything else and left air between the building and the stacks in the middle. EVERYTHING but the ends were NOT touching. Kid goes "it wasn't that way when we left it". And I'm like well buddy Godzilla didn't come in here, lift the building up and fubar your work for you. This is EXACTLY as it was when you left it. His Daddy was the other half of the crew and he starts whining about "Why didn't you say anything about this the day we were here." Well it was evening time when we got back. They were in a hurry to show me the level inside and then left. Anyway the little man used it as an excuse to get his shorties all twisted and walked off the job like a child instead of standing up like a man and doing the job right. Today? My attorney just finished pounding out a letter to these fine folks. This isn't over by a long shot. They have damages to pay due to their negligence. This review is just the beginning. And yes, we have video and pics of this entire mess."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

Evaporation causes up to 70% of outdoor pools’ energy losses, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. While you can’t completely prevent evaporation, different types of pool covers can help a lot. Pool enclosures, however, don’t do much to stop evaporation—and the cost to build a pool enclosure likely won’t tempt you to try.

Sustainable materials and energy-efficient designs support greener construction options.

You should always check your user's manual for the weight capacity of your pool enclosure. In most cases, it is not safe for someone to walk on their enclosure. Professional pool installers will have more experience in repairing enclosure roofs and how to scale them without risking injury.

Building an inground pool is a job best left to the pros. Excavating the area and building the pool requires heavy equipment and specialized training, and pools have complex plumbing and electrical systems. Unless you’re experienced in these areas, you’re better off hiring a pool contractor to make sure the job gets done safely and correctly.

Small animals, particularly rats and mice, like to burrow inside pool heaters. To keep them out, seal any entry points with caulk or steel wool. Then, place mothballs inside or around your pool heater. As a final measure of protection, you can cover the pool heater in hardware cloth or wood paneling to further block entry points.
