"I had Bayside come in to make some flower beds, plant flowers and to reseed the front and back yard. The flowers he got are great quality and have just taken off. They did such a great job that I had him do some more work for me including a planting some crape myrtles, building a 10x10 shed and pouring a concrete patio. The price for the quality of work was excellent. Brian was very professional and easy to get a hold of. He took my basic idea I had and turn it into a great looking yard and outdoor space."

"A most pleasant team of smart electricians arrived and they were most understanding of my vaguely abstruse electrical needs. I can, honestly, not imagine a better home fix than they delivered!"

Exterior Lighting questions, answered by experts

Depending on complexity and materials, costs range from $150 to $500 per fixture.

Options include pathway lights, spotlights, and smart lighting systems. Choose based on function and aesthetics.

Table lamps, floor lamps, chandeliers, desk lamps, and antique or decorative light fixtures that hold sentimental or aesthetic value are commonly repaired.

While wet-rated and damp-rated lighting is designed to handle contact with moisture, there’s a difference between the two. Wet-rated lighting is safety-rated to be placed in areas with direct exposure to water, including your shower. Fixtures classed as wet-rated are made with waterproof seals to protect the filament and other electrical components from water and moisture.

Damp-rated fixtures can be used in places with some moisture contact, but not direct exposure. They don’t have the same waterproof seals used in wet-rated fixtures. Damp-rated lighting can be used on your bathroom ceiling or along a wall outside of your shower.

Professional repairs involve diagnosing issues, replacing components, rewiring, or repositioning fixtures to restore optimal performance.
