"Donnell saved my house! I have been battling a major erosion problem for years. My house sits on the side of a shifting, sandy hill, and the whole hillside is eroding away. Engineering evaluation suggested installing a large patio. Thus, I needed a creative concrete company that could place a very large patio on the side of a sandy, shifting hill. To add to the challenge, the process had to be done manually as my wooded lot precluded the use of heavy equipment. Due to these challenges, a number of large vendors declined to bid. Not Donnell. He acknowledged these challenges, but felt certain his knowledge and 30 years of experience could overcome them. And overcome them he did. Using enormous physical labor, every framing trick in the books, and some he created on his own just for this job, he managed to perch a 50 ton concrete patio on the side of a hill of shifting sand, and, in so doing, stabilized the entire hill.
