"It went very well.     Ken was great.   Pleasant, courteous and professional.    He even put up with my little dog...
My initial purchase was for repair to a bedroom closet.  Ken finished the closet repair to my satisfaction.  In addition to the closet repair, he repaired my front door locks and springs.   He did a great job and I will definitely call him again.  In fact, I'm putting together a list of things which need attention.    Strongly recommend!

Door Repair questions, answered by experts

Misaligned doors, damaged frames, faulty closers, broken locks, and automatic door sensor failures often require repairs.

To remove the door plates (aka strike plates), use a screwdriver to remove the screws, then pull the plate away from the door jamb. Sometimes, the plate gets stuck. In this case, use a utility knife to gently cut around the plate. Carefully pull the plate back and forth to loosen it. Keep cutting around the plate and pulling until it’s free from the jamb.

Worn-out, broken, or damaged rollers are the most likely culprit for sliding doors that can’t seem to stay on the tracks. Replacing the rollers is a straightforward repair that will help keep your door in the track and make opening and closing it easy. Once you’ve replaced the rollers, be sure to clean and inspect them regularly to keep them in good condition.

Yes, but adding a deadbolt to some door materials, like steel, may make installation a little bit trickier. For these materials, you will want to hire a locksmith to do the work for you, but be aware that they may charge an additional fee of $25 to $50 or more.

Common problems include misaligned tracks, damaged rollers, and broken handles or locks.
